I must say I don't really undestand what she says:

"Me quedé muerta con el videoclip de Rumanía. De ahí a la poca inteligencia, corta plano, mete menos. Mi mánager me mandó un enlace y vi un fotomontaje de mi foto y la de Rumanía. Su video es bonito, pero como el nuestro, nada".

Thought I could speak Spanish. Maybe this is Murcian, hahaha... In any case I don´t think she is critizising the clip as she says "su vídeo es bonito" at the end.

Me neither. That sentence has no sense, but looks like she's blaming Romanian team for being unoriginal and copying her videoclip, even if she thinks the video is "cute".

Anyway, "poca inteligencia" is really not a proper way at all to talk about it.

To be fair... they copied Ruth's video, and Ruth didn't really say that.

Here is the right quote.

Meanwhile, in an interview for Spanish blog Olevision, Ruth Lorenzo didn’t buy the coincidence explanation:

I was shocked when I saw Romania’s video. I saw little intelligence and inspiration. My manager sent me a link with a photo collage of our video images and their images. Their video is pretty, but nothing like ours.

Yeah. Thank God it wasn't so big in the end and she didn't have to spend the whole day in the hospital. She better saves some energy cause ESC is here!

Polemics aside, here we have a couple of remixes of 'Dancing In The Rain'.
They are fantastic, hehe but I consider Eurovision version is more appropiate for the contest...

Nobody commented on the Spanish jury!

Members are:
- Raúl, Jorge González and La Dama from the NF.
- Leticia Fuentes (composer and singer) (no idea who she is to be honest)
- Francisco Rodríguez (composer and producer) (no idea either)

What do you think?

I must say I like it so far. Average age of juries in Europe is 40 years old and I think ours is quite lower. Raúl is 39 and probably the oldest one. Both La Dama and Jorge are younger than 30. This Leticia Fuentes doesn't look older than 30 after some research. I have no idea about this Francisco, but he's probably a bit older

And we also have a melodic singer (Raúl), an up-tempo-latin singer (Jorge), a more Spanish modern style singer (La Dama), a dance singer (Leticia) and this Francisco says on his website "alternative/psicodelic rock/poetry" (I've heard some of his songs and they're really weird and underground).

So it's quite diverse and young. That's a good thing!

Yes, at least they are young. But in terms of taste... we will see. I won't be surprised if the results are a bit strange in the end.

It starts with a backdrop of beautiful rain with Ruth Lorenzo's silhouette. She's wearing a a white dress. The stage is mostly blue with raindrops all over the Stage. There are 4 backup singers adding depth to the song. Water drops are being displayed on the ground as well making it visually a very appealing performance. When it's time for Ruth to hit the high note, the Stage turns white to give it a WOW effect.
For a second it appeared that Ruth had an issue with her earpiece and had a bad note but immediately recovered from it.
Chris: I think it's really impressive, vocally she is amazing and it's a good song. Watching the whole thing live makes it even better, she was holding back but I think we're in for a real treat. Even though I tend to rave about Ukrainian voices, this girl can sing!!!
Matt: Clearly holding back but still impressive. A fest for the eyes and ears but it's a dangerous song, one bad note could mess the whole thing up. So it's smart on her end to hold back right now.

Flawless even if she is screaming a little too loud, but it's a good performance though.

Good Luck Spain!

Too much shouting for my likings but I liked what I've seen from the rehearsal!
