I haven't heard any songs this year apart from Spain and UK, I usually wait till the semifinals to make my mind up. So I can't say if Austria or Armenia are good songs or not. This year the contest is not as 'clear' as the past few years when we knew who would win it as soon as the songs were released. So anyone can win this year.

Well, Armenia has even better odds than Alexander Rybak or Loreen had, so it must have something :)

PSOE blames TVE for having no interest in Eurovision El PSOE acusa a TVE de "no tener interés" por Eurovisión - Ecoteuve.es

I laughed so much!!! Dear Socialist friends, you have trillion reasons to blame and bash the Government or TVE (much more important by the way), but Eurovision?????? Seriously?
Who was in power when we had Chikilicuatre or the whole myspace mess? And when we chose internally because we found a superior masterpiece like "Bloody Mary"? Actually responsible of every selection since 2005 to 2012.... brilliant years for Spain in Eurovision, yeah...

TVE's leader ignorance about Spanish music is terrible though. But well, what can you expect if the head of a public broadcaster is a man who came from hotel business

Yeah! Our representatives between 2005-2009 were xfacepalm. And now, it seems TVE is interested in Eurovision, IMO. At least, they posted news and promote the candidature...

By the way, Ruth is alive. Sharks didn't eat her.

Actually TVE has a great Eurovision team since a couple of years ago. They work quite well with social media, try to post news, update everything related with Eurovision, not only in Spain. People who are doing a very good job.

The problem is we have an inept as Head of Delegation, terrible board in TVE and a dated broadcaster then it comes to entertaining shows. Great production for information and series, decent for sports, but everything else is so cheap and that includes Eurovision, even if it gives them the highest ratings of the year after football.

I've just read the artists for next Madrid Gay Pride concert and it looks like a little Eurovision

- Baccara (Luxembourg 1978)

- Azúcar Moreno (Spain 1990)

- Soraya (Spain 2009)

- Pastora Soler (Spain 2012)

+ Merche (NF 2001, jury several times and proposed for this year), Chenoa (eternal rumour to represent Spain). This is pretty much half of the show or even more! I wouldn't be surprised if Ruth Lorenzo will be there as well (I think she was in some previous edition). Well, they even brought Elena Paparizou in 2005 right after she won Eurovision

Yeah, but that doesn't mean that most of gays (not even a majority) are ESC fans or are interested in Eurovision. It's true that most fans are gay, but I know many gays and most of them don't care about Eurovision.
