Most curious about the actual entries.

When will we know which of the entries that will eventually be picked for the final? Will the others be out of the game, or may the use an entry not used in the final for Eurovision? That would be kinda odd though.

Hi all! I'm happy with the outcome of the last round. The best five qualified and juries were not deaf thank god...

@ Peter
Televoting picked Esmeralda Grao, Melissa and Sebas and the jury saved Monica Guech and Don Johnson (their song is Spanish ESC song in 1966) ;)

@ A-Lister
In the next show the ten semifinalists will sing Eurovision songs again, but then the best three will qualify to the final, where they will sing 3 songs each one, so 9 songs in total (not full songs though) and then the 9 songs will become in 3. So the 20 finalist songs that were announced will become in just 9 songs. I think TVE said they will show some kind of demos of the 9 finalist songs within the previous week to the final ;)

It looks like nobody "called", unless TVE is keeping it as secret till the end... Who knows, but it's unlikely ;)

Shame that jury saved Gio last time, Maria was much better!

I also watched show in Friday, Lorena the best! ;) :D

^ Well, I feared that Lorena was gonna destroy my favourite ESC song, but in the end it wasn't THAT bad. Of course she's not Helena, but was okish for a young unexperienced singer (as most of NF singers are) :)

What bugged me most was her accent. Actually 90% of the people who sang in english had really bad accent...

That doesn't matter. That's how 95 % of Spaniards speak English, what can we do? And especially she, being so young... But it's not important, they do what they can and whatever, we will sing in Spanish, unless we take some come on and take me, come on and shake me thing, so the accent will sound well :lol:

I'm probably one of the strongest supporters of the spanish language in ESC! I love spanish and I don't want Spain to send an english song EVER! I'd be totally fine with a Soraya-style song but please not entirely in english [not (only) because of the accent ;) ]! GIVE ME SPANISH! :D

I'd like that every country sings in their own language.... This way it gets too silly, the Eurovision is slowly loosing that "Euro" part.... To me the charm of Eurovision lays exactly in the variety of the languages used....
Anyway, TVE announced that even if the chosen song is in english, they will translate it to spanish... So no worries there, they will sing is spanish ;o)
