Tumblr, mostly.
Yeah, I was worried people would not connect to Sebi, but fortunately they did. Sebi always struck me as one of those entries which either flops terribly and becomes a cult classic, or emerges as a smash hit and finishes leftside on the Grand Final's scoreboard. Tonight established it's the latter, hooray. WORK THAT 12 PLACE xheart

Incidentally, this is the first time since 2015 when my preshow favourite qualified for the Grand Final. :D I tend to curse my favourite acts and I'm happy ZalaGasper FINALLY broke the wheel. xlove

My God! I've watched the performance five times and it gives me chills like the first time. I like this better than the studio version actually. And the crowd was into it too.

In her eyes, I feel like she's like: "help me, look at me, I won't be able to sing the song until the end without your support"
And he's like "don't worry, I'm here beside you. We'll make it through together"

Call me romantic, call me cheesy, but I'd love to love and be loved like that. xheart I just need to find me a Gasper, then we might form a duo and maybe one day I'll get the chance to sing in Eurovision with my not-quite-as-ASMR-as-Zala voice. Be ready ya'll.

Seriously, this question really was boring. Most of the questions were. These journalists go all the way to Israel and can't think of more interesting things to ask than favorite number and some random cliches? I appreciate they're being honest rather than put a huge fake smile and go along with this nonsense.

They were just brutally honest. Those after result press conference are always full of stupid questions or just congrats to the qualifiers... nothing really interesting and usually same questions every year. While for many eurofans every detail counts and running order is somehow a hot topic, for those outsiders, especially the artists, that is absolutely irrelevant.

Somehow Hatari were taking the piss out of the "press" too, but in a charming way. I wouldn't be too harsh with Gašper, he just wanted to go to sleep and honestly nothing from the press conference was relevant.

I was a little worried for them. I hoped that Zala's voice wouldn't be drowned out or people wouldn't understand the message. But they obviously found a connection and I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO happy they made it :3 I voted for them ten times lol. I have no idea what Australia gave them as a whole? Are there stats for that?

This has been in my top 3 this whole season so you can imagine how I almost died of a heart attack last night. Very intimate performance, stunning background and those two have a certain kind of chemistry that just caught both my boyfriend`s and my own attention during the performance - the way he looked at her, she looked at him, the little smiles on their faces, the sparkling in their eyes .... adorable. Her vocals were slightly flat but yeah this deserved to qualify 100%.

Song: 10/12
Performance/Staging: 7/12
Vocals: 6/12
Overall: 8/12
Semi Ranking: 3 out of 17

So happy for Slovenia :)

Was my 3 last night after Serbia and Australia. It was in my botnom 10 before live, but them was awesome last night and really sold this song last night. Think this did it very good and could possible fight for a top 10.

That was captivating even more so than in EMA. A moment. They are in love. One of the best and most honest songs to grace the contest this decade. It'll probably come like 21st in the final but who cares? They made it.

Also if I were in Eurovision I would be disrespectful to journalists as well.

I cannot believe this qualified. That was so awkward. She barely opened her mouth and what was his role yesterday? To stare at her? :?

Guys, I watched their Slovenian interview after press for qualifiers. They litterally believed that they wouldn't qualify. They made already plans to travel to some sightseeing spots in Israel for the rest of their stay in Israel. When asked if they were nervous because they were announced last, Zala literraly said: Oh, no, Slovenia qualified. They were both tired and after the show they went to bed. They said they were sick and tired of interviews. When asked what they would say to their haters who were predicting they wouldn't qualify, Zala said: Oh, no, we have nothing against those people. They probably have their frustrations, they need our support. And imagine - she said this in such a calm and respective and compassionate way that I immediately bursted in laughs

Oh, and Zala also said that she was really disappointed that Belgium and above all Portugal didn't qualify. She said nice things about Conan.

And one more thing. Gašper stressed that they got really close/connected with San Marino and Iceland. Gašper said that they get along probably cuz they are both outsiders.

Anyways, the final question was if they would go through everything one more time/again. Both immediately said: No, never. This is the first and the last time. They are happy that people like their music and this actually only motivates them more right now to return to studio and make more music.

Guys, this is it. Hate them or love them - this was surely their best interview I've seen so far.

 Dad talking to the children.

They had already hinted in an interview that the interview marathon was exhausting to them and that they weren't comfortable being the center of so much attention because they are introverts. Don't forget their performance in EMA this year was their first performance on TV ever, it's understandable they're overwhelmed imo. It was all very sudden.

Also, Gasper thanked their manager for supporting them since day 1 when they were selected for EMA, otherwise they would have hidden in a corner of their apartment, double-locked the door and lost the key

Their plans for the future are to keep creating music and buy a flat by the sea... :D One can be a musician and still want to live a simple life.

Most pointless act in the competition. If they only want their music to be heard by masses, the only way for them is to do Eurovision. Because truth be told, nobody really cares about any Slovenian artists globally. And they must be stupid to think that they can do Eurovision by achieving their objective without having the pressure that comes with it. Sounds lazy as shit to be honest. I seriously hope they get boycotted. The other 7 eliminated acts would have loved to take their place. Their attitude (together with Hatari's) irks me so much.

I do respect and get your point, but there may be another explanation.

In Slovenia, there apparently aren't many musical shows and EMA is known for being the most suitable platform for artists to showcase themselves at national level before a big audience. And I wouldn't be surprised if it were Zalasper's intent when they applied to EMA.

They said countless times they thought they had zero chances of winning the NF, and their weird reaction when it actually happened makes sense in this regard.

To me, they're like two people who wanted more exposure on home soil, but instead - through a chain of circumstances - ended up getting caught in the Eurovision whirlwind. But I may be wrong. :D

Well i want to thank them. I,m selv introvert and know how difficult it could be with work and life. This songs and performance shows that you could get success even in Eurovision only to be Your selv. In a eurovisionworld where everyone want,s attention and nearly everyone scream look on me. Them was really standing out with a cute songs and a great staging.

LOL. That's subjective. One would consider Hungary/Portugal/Georgia/Poland have performed better than the borderline creepy snoozefest these 2 have put out last evening.

If they just want to be known on a national level, then they could have just rejected the opportunity to represent Slovenia and give some other representative who love to be in their place. I don't like to talk smack about entries I don't like, usually I will stay away. But their attitude is just atrocious. Being an introvert or tired doesn't give you the free pass of being rude or being unappreciative of the contest.

This! Now I personally like their entry and think it deserved to qualify, but the fact that we are living in ages when being rude and arrogant is considered "cool" and "honest" is just meh... but this is millenia hipster mentality ...
