I'm looking forward to hearing Anja Bas and Manuella Brecko's entries. They seem promising.

Looking at the titles in English, we can definitely tell that ESC loves the themes of "tomorrow" and "being alive" :lol:. We get at least one entry that talks about those themes. To be fair, a lot of songs talk about the same thing in one form or another.

Anja Baš - generic pop that goes unnoticed
Anja Kotar - the chorus is quite tacky, not a fan of it
D base - LMAO. You for real?
Manuella - so bland that it hurts, bye
Nuša - dear god... Please wihdraw before ema. This screams OGAY fanwank flop. Almost as bad Hera Björk.
Raiven - not the screamfest that I feared. Need to listen to the whole song though... and singing in Slovene is a big mistake.
Regina - *facepalm*
San di ego - decent, but not a song for ESC at all
Sebastijan Lukovnjak - Need to listen to the whole song, has potential
Žan Serčič - could be a decent pop song, but needs a revamp...

The songs are much worse than last year, I think that only Raiven/Sebastijan Lukovanjak could qualify.... but I need to lsiten to their whole songs...

I dont think these are THAT bad actually. I remember listening to the snippets last year and I didnt like anything there ... But then the full songs were amazing at the end.

My favourites are:
ManuElla: Its so country-ish and I like it. Somewhat reminds me of Taylor Swift and I bet if she sang it she would have great success with it.
Raiven: I like the snippet actually, but the instrumental part afterwards is .. interesting. :D
Sebastijan Lukovnjak: Really modern, and has something we havent got for now this year. I could see this being a hit as a remix actually. Love it!
Anja Kotar: Nice instruments used here, really dark and deep love it, but I am not a huge fan of the refrain tbh, we'll see.

My favourite is Zan - Summer story!!! and I also really like San Di Ego, D BASE and Nusa! :D

Not really...
I think Nuša will have the same faith as Jana Šušteršič last year. Known name, but weak song and the juries probably won't pick her for the superfinal.
I think that Sebastijan could make it into the top 2, but I highly doubt he'll be able to win the televote, he is not known at all...
Raiven is very likely to make it into the jury's top 2 and I would say that she is the likeliest winner.

Sebastijan Lukovnjak is my favourite on first listening to the slips, although I do like Žan Serčič too

I had very high hopes for Nusa, and then I heard the title and then knew it would be bad.. The song isnt essentially bad, it sounds like I could have it as a secret favourite, but the lyrics are awful lol
