Well, you never know. I've thought the same about the Austrian Zoe, but to my surprise, the whole Europe likes her and her childish song as it was one of the best scoring entries from the first semi final in the iTunes. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see if she was actually second or third in that semifinal.

Austria was an obvious qualifier for me. They improved everthing since it won the NF and it was the only cheerful song in a rather gloomy semi. It really stood out, just like Czech Republic. That's how small countries that can't rely on getting points from anyone can pass the semi, they need to send songs that stand out from the competition.
Also I can easily imagine Austria becoming a radio hit, it's super catchy, just like Un monde parfait, which was a big hit back in 2005.

I agree with you that our entry is bland, however, I really have to disagree that it is the worst of all ex-Yu entries... Come on, Montenegro? Macedonia? Even Bosnia is not a musical over-achievement... In fact, whatever we may think of our Mozarella, in this really poor semi final she actually stands chances of qualifying tonight. For now, I can see only 4 sure qualifiers (Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, and Belgium), the rest is in for the fight tonight. Some good songs were ruined by horrible staging, some other with horrible look changes... Basically, whereas everyone knew before semi final 1 that San Marino would never qualify, here, in this semi, everyone has a chance. And this will make the whole evening really exciting, because it is simply too unpredictable... Have fun tonight, and enjoy relaxed. Serbia is in the finals

That is of course my personal opinion. I like more than Slovenia this year sorry. I would be happy if you guys make it though, no doubt (Yugo power ), but this year I just don't like the Slovenian song at all. Which doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy if you made it by some chance

I think we both dislike our entry, but I was shocked to read that it was the worst of all ex-yu entries This is something I cannot settle with. Honestly, Montenegro's entry in my humble opinion was a high-school level production that even some 3rd class rock bands in Slovenia without any resources surpass easily... So, sorry, but no matter how much I've tried to like all our ex-yu countries, I couldnt make myself to like Bosnian, Montenegrian, and Macedonian entries - all horror as well as our Mozarella

But I agree with you about Yugo power. But hey, you know that Serbia and Croatia will profit most from this ex-Yu mess and total disaster in the semis. This means that most of 12 and 10 will go easily your direction, though I think that Macedonians will give the highest points to Bulgaria this year In any case, I dont doubt that ex-yu block voting will fail us this year

COmmenting while watching Albania's performance.
This semi is so pisspoor and so many countries have dreadful stagings that I take back that I want this last. I can count at least 6 songs which were worse. I can't believe I'm saying this... In all honesty I would pick just like 6-7 songs to qualify and forget about the rest.

Heard the song first time tonight and loved it. It was a great performance, lovely tune, it really deserved a spot in finals.

I am actually not sad, it was expected to happen. But it will take some time for me to settle with the fact that Lithuania and Ukraine advanced.... Simply not my cup of tea. However, I am super happy for Latvia and Georgia - the latter was the most positive surprise for me. Really psychodelic. Loved it a lot.

Manuella can be proud of her. She did the best thing that could happen with Blue and Red. I'm very surprised how good she sounded !

Deserved flop, but it was a big improvement from the NF, I'll give it that. This year's ESC experience is quite special. It's like my country is not participating and I only care about other songs.

Well, I must say I really liked Latvia, and I am happy they are in the finals. The guy nailed it, after he was over with singing, I said to myself: HE IS IN. And I wasnt wrong. But I must say... Lithuania???? Come on, guys, that was really lame.

I'm sure ManuElla gave her best, but Slovenia tonight was like watching San Marino's football team playing in a group with Brazil, Germany, Spain, Italy or Argentina, sooo out of place. I'm almost sure this got the last place.
