@ A-lister, If you ask me, we made the wrong decisions (since I started to watch EMA in 2001) from 2002 to 2006, 2008 - 2010 and in 2013.

In those years, we had some really good songs on NF, which also became huge hits here, but somehow they flopped on the preselections. As for 2013, I still think we should send someone else. I repeat, I have nothing against Hannah, but people here were very unhappy with her, since almost 90% of Slovenians had no clue, who she was.

So I really hope that these rumors are true. April would be a good choice. I still listen to "Ladadidej" occasionally

After seeing BiH withdrawing, I think it's almost certain that we'll see Slovenia following their steps. I just hope I'm wrong.

+1. I am almost certain as well

And the chances of RTS changing their decision (we are still working on it) are slightly lowered after this. As soon as withdrew, RTS couldn't wait for that to happen, and the immediately published it in the news, so that everyone can see how it is a tough situation, they did their best, but many countries are withdrawing because of financial reasons, blah blah blah..........

This wasn't an official announcement, though. It was mentioned during a review of the year in music. The writer may have no link to the decision and could just be reporting on what we already know - that they haven't withdrawn yet.

We have news from Slovenia.

RTVSLO have just reported that they will make their final decision regarding participation in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest “no later than January 17th”, in yet another EBU approved deadline extension. This is contrary to the former deadline of today, January 7th which was previously granted by the EBU.
