In my top personal two now.Tinkara is hugely talented and has managed to get this just right.Its a wonderful production now.She needs to be dressed in the long dress or similar on stage with the long hair.Avoid the suit look at all costs,that would be a disaster.She also would do better having the dancers similar to the video and dropping the two guitars.They serve no purpose to the staging and are a waste.Tell them they arent on stage and replace with the dancers.Her,2 dancers,2 backing and the drums.

Slovenia are up against it with a lack of allies in the semi so Tinkara cant afford to get the staging wrong.Her and the song deserve the final as its a cracker)

Suit and Tie would be a disaster for the staging Mrm IMO.She needs the long dress and long hair whispy look.Cold and sharp is not the way to stage this.Warm and swirling is).

Hmmm but i find these long flying dresses cheesy in Balkan style, and they always flop in ESC heavily..

Me too, but with that version they would have smaller chances to qualify, let's be realistic..

I have to say the best songs from ex-YU were not sung in English - Dajes mi krila, Moje stikla, Neka mi ne svane, Ne brini, Verjanem, Nebo, Vukovi umiru sami, Zauvijek moja, Ljubav je svuda......

And I prefer Croatian and Slovenian songs to Bosnian and Serbian songs..... the latter are often too depressing or just too weird....

Well latter are more successful anyway..and those you mentioned were not that successful in ESC.. ;)

And GOSH you mentioned "Zauvjek moja" as Croatian/Slovenian entry? You are not normal it seems, check better, "Zauvjek moja" represented Serbia & Montenegro! xfaint

The latter have the bigger diaspora...... I stick by the fact, that Croatian and Slovenian songs are mostly more pleasant. Croatian diaspora is small, Slovenia has no diaspora at all...

Molitva is a nice song. But I would have preferred Hungary or Ukraine in 2007. It was a beautiful ESC in Finland, but the political voting back then bothered me. Verjamem was much better. The difference is, Molitva won and Verjamem failed. If Serbia had Verjamem, they would have still won, and Slovenia would have still failed with Molitva. Political voting is b*tch.

Hungary got completely robbed by the political voting, which was the favourite by the unbiased countries.

I mentioned it amongst ex-YU entries. I guess Montenegro is part of ex-YU as well (and btw. extremely beautiful, I've been there!)


And I mentioned Ljubav je svuda, can you handle that?

That singer couldn't sing at all.. and dresses were ugly and kitsch like the whole performance, results say everything, we had jury that year why jury didn't save that mediocre ballad?? ;) "Molitva" is MILES better, vocal's were MESMERIZING and composition was pure quality, it wasn't my number 1 that year but I liked it and it was deserved winner, it got 12 from Finland where Serbs don't live almost at all.. ;)

And your country gave us 12 in 2007 - "Molitva"..and we can't say that Serbian diaspora is that strong in Czech Republic to give 12 to us, other years you gave us lower points.. ;) So it was deserved 12 points, we don't have big diaspora in Czech Republic at all.. ;) I bet if Czech Republic took part the year when "Verjamem" represented Slovenia you will give big fat 90 to "Verjamem".. ;)Be honest and realistic!! ;)

Did you forget that in 2005 RTCG chose the Serbian-Montenigrin representative?

The deal was that one year Serbia choses, the other year it's Montenegro's turn. Well that deal didn't last too long as both countries decided to divorce.

Molitva was a deserved winner, but in other years Serbia could always rely on their diaspora strongholds. Except last year, which was a narrow defeat.

Slovenia has no one to rely on in Eurovision, they are completely on their own. Like Hungary, like Czech Republic was and almost every other country of Central Europe.

Other ex Yugo countries gave always points to Slovenia, but they don't have diaspora, what can I do? And Czech republic don't have diaspora too..

We didn't qualify in 2009, we always not qualify when we don't deserve.. ;) So please.. ;)

If you compared me compositions and voices, whole performances, I would respect your opinion, but you don't give any normal arguments and you don't know which entries represented which countries, and sorry i can't take that serious then.. :)

Can you tell me where are you from in Czech Republic?
