7 points. It's a good song. She sings good and she knows her way around a flute. It also has good, loungey instrumentals. This is not a belt-your-heart-out kind of song and I appreciate that. Starbucks would like this kind of song, I think, so there's an audience.

imo, it's the best slovenian entry in ages.
the song doesn't make u scream "omg winerrr, love it" but it's nice.

tbh, the staging is just horrible.
her "dress" is truly awful and i don't like that thing with a "band" and backup singers, it doesn't really go with the song.
i hope that part changes

otherwise, nice effort, i'll give it an 8

I actually like this. Particularly the beautiful musical intro which leads well into a pretty good singer and melody. I like the harmonies throughout and the bi lingual aspect is quite effective. Overall - 8. Not a winner but certainly not a flop. Should definitiely qualify!

Now that we selected our entry (which is - let me state that again - amazing), it's time to think about other things. First of all, the song is definitely in need of a revamp. It sounds good the way it is, but it needs some extra oomph, which will convert the song from a radio hit to ESC song that could actually do very well.

Also, they should really start thinking about the staging. The song doesn't need dancers or any special gimmicks, but even positions, where each person stands, can really change a lot. I would 100% scratch the band, because it doesn't suit the song at all and move back-up singers further back, especially if they'll stay with Nika and Manca. It was more than visible that Nika and Manca are pretty successful solo singers. They are both used to performing by themselves so they stood out way more than they should (especially Nika).

Of course, styling is very important as well. I'm no specialist in this area, but I know that Tinkara used to look very good. She should go back to her dark look with long hair and WITHOUT bangs. She also needs to change her dress, because it's awful.

This is a nice song, but with all due respect, I don't really like this song. It's kinda "blah" for me, but I hope they will rework the staging and rearranging the song in order to make it more interesting. Good luck Slovenia!

I thought Slovenia wanted to make it after all, but they decided to remain in the Semi Final once again. Muff was brilliant as far as I can tell from the recap I heard. Anyone knows if there is a video of their performance somewhere?

I think they couldve saved Slovenia, but oh well .. now they got an average - not outstanding - title once again. Well done

Hmmmm it seems to be everything i like in music - ethnic touch, local language, in-linear beat.
But something stops me from giving it 12 points, it lacks something very important, there's no wow-factor in it. It's just pleasent.
I give it 8 points and i'm afraid this won't make it to the final, the singer is boring, she lacks charisma and energy.
I still like it and it goes into my playlist.

Last night, I listened to this immediately after Undo, and the only memory I had of this song was a similar mood, but much weaker.
Having listened to it again, the mood isn't similar, but the weakness is still there. The intro is somewhat promising, but after that, nothing happens. It feels like I've heard the same thing with far better arrangements multiple times before.

There's something about this that feels like it could be good, but the arrangement is weak and just feels watered down. In a recap, this drowns completely.
This should be sung entirely in Slovene, though. Another thing is removing the band - that's a requirement for the stage show to work, because now it's just messy.
I'll say it does grow on later listenings, but it still leaves little to remember.

Pretty satisfied with last nights results. Muff was also great but what's with that flamenco dress :shock:
Anyway, I think this song is pretty catchy and that flute intro is amazing aswell. Well, those round and round hand "movements" worked for Slovenia back in 2011, why not this year?
