Well imo Maja had a very generic souless song.. so she's really no indication of anything. To me she even managed way better than the entry deserved.

I can point out a bunch of better Slovenian entries that flopped hard though..

Maja's song was very American IMO (almost everyone here loved it), it was very Christina. I didn't care for it, either but she sounded great live so to me it ended up being the biggest grower of 2011.

Slovenia had a lot of good songs in the running, their NF was to me the strongest one for this year so I am very optimistic and hope for the best.

I agree with the very American and the strong EMA part . I made some of my friends listen to "No One" and they liked it and thought that she sounded a lot like Christina!

Anyway, good luck on Misija Evrovisija/EMA. I'm sure we'd have a good song again next year

"Misija Evrovizija" will start on October 2nd (20:00 CET). We will meet 8 (out of 32) candidates and 4 of them will qualify to the next stage (2 from televoting and 2 from jury votes).

Deep inside me I was hoping for a negative answer! I have mobile internet and I have 5Gb traffic for 22 euros. With the live streaming I will use all of them! :? I need to find a way to watch this! Even though EMA is the most important but I want to watch the entire selection...
