Coldplay and that song has soooo much similar parts, in my opinion.
But no one wants to hear bad things about something that he/she likes.
So calm down, there is no reason to hate this song. I dont think anyone hates this song because of that similiar reason.

For the last time I say: there are similarities, but the two songs are technically completely different!! I studied music and I know when two songs are the same or not. And there are similarities with the Danish entry "Should've Known Better" and "Crazy" of Alanis Morissette, but again, the two songs are different! Zeljko started composing this song long before Coldplay released Paradise...

omg i wish people would just stop.

i'm not a Coldplay follower, i haven't heard Paradise before, but i know Zeljko's song by heart now: melody and lyrics. with that i listened to Paradise... yes the instrumental part is very similar, for like 5 seconds.
oh and btw, a friend who is a Coldplay fan told me that this particular part that is the same has been borrowed by Coldplay. they admitted to it, never claimed it was theirs. it's an old Irish song.
so technically, it's a folk melody that has been used by Coldplay, and then, by Zeljko (or maybe first by Zeljko and then by COldpaly, or simultaneously... whatever.)
