Serbia is not boring, they're just true to their own music culture unlike most other countries in this.

Exactly. It's always refreshing to hear something that wasn't made to catch up with world's trends and be euro-friendly.
I've heard Zeljko wants an english version, bad move, hope the channel won't let him make that mistake.

I hope he will have some concerts maybe in summer or in the fall, i would like to go to Serbia for that (no visa needed, thank god) :)

Odalis, да, лучше бы он пел на сербском. На английском эта песня звучит не так интересно.
Yes, it would be better, he was singing in Serbian. In English, this song does not sound so interesting.

REALLY!? Would be a catastrophe!! Serbia is the only country yet in ESC not to have to sold-out to English and the concept of Anglovision ever (not even partly).

I really hope the channel stops him then, seriously Zeljko!? Go and listen to your own composition and don't be a fool, it's obvious this should be in Serbian, otherwise I hope karma will treat you...

i dont think so,zeliko is quite clever to know that this song-or any of his songs of this kind- could not possibly work in english!!!

Everyone are so ridiculously desperate and cowardly now in ESC when juries were brought back that we've seen a decline in practically everything interesting; use of native languages, local-styled entries, left-field/alternative entries, pure modern entries... it's a pity and only to cater to safe and mainstream, western and anglo-biased juries!

For sure this does NOT work in English. Please Zeljko don't be a sell-out! Part of the atmosphere and beauty lies in the language, I could have not even imagined any of his previous entries in English... just so odd and random (and not in a good way).

Can't top "Lane Moje", but it's still a fairly beautiful song. I think it needs 4-5 listens before it really works though. Should definitely make it in the top 10 at least in such a Eurovision-trash year as this is.

I really hope he goes for Serbian, I've yet to read someone actually wanting the English version.

Ещё бы! When i've heard english version first, i though WTF. With english this song looks like a cow wearing Versace dress :D

Hush hush, that's just what i've heard, i cannot guarantee it's not just a rumor, so let's hope for the best. I understand that times have changed and maybe Zeljko thought that english would work better for a sec, but i'm sure he'll be singing in serbian, he's not deaf to hear serbian version is sooo much better ;)

I've listened it about 100 times and I like English version more, even though I'm for countries to sing in their own language.

Joksimovic probably thinks that if he had sung 'Lane Moje' in English that it would have won 2004, which I think it's wrong idea, it would be placed worse then 2nd.
This year I see he's not exclusive to English, which surprises me, it's sooo not his style and doesn't fit his music at all. At the end I'm sure Serbian lyrics will prevail, but I don't like the fact he has doubts about it. He should know better by now.

@Odalis - Balkans wouldn't care if it's English or Serbian, from my experience - ex-YU will vote for anything if singer is familiar to them. They vote for familiar face and melody by default:/ Not sure how good or fair it is, but...that's how I see it.

Ah ok then, but i'm still sure that many people will be disappointed with this decision since they got used to hearing him singing in serbian only. Good for him if they don't care in the end, i do though and not sure i'll be voting for an english version :(

Lane Moje would sound very weird in English, it would for sure NOT be in the top.3 atleast. He deludes himself with this English stuff, trust me Zeljko, don't do it!

Totally disagree, I think they listen to the lyrics aswell, and especially in an ethnic type of entry they'll see it as a sell-out. Actually he's in a semi where almost all the ex-yugo countries compete, he doesn't need English to end up high there, to be frank I think people would be less willing to support him in English from these countries.
