My predictions without hearing all the songs.

SF1

Austria
Cyprus
Denmark
Finland
Greece
Hungary
Iceland
Ireland
Israel
Russia

SF2

Armenia
BiH
Georgia
Norway
Serbia
Slovekia
Slovenia
Sweden
Turkey
Ukraine

I do hope that Sweden and Ireland will manage to qualify. Since If Sweden chooses sth great from Melodifestivalen and if Jedward represents Ireland they'll be my favourite for sure. I am a bit worried about them. =(

And may i ask why these countries?

Oh I see I forgot Macedonia and Slovenia  Who else was in Pot 1 then and in Semi 1?! Hm. Or wasn't slovenia in the same pot as the rest ex-yugo? confusing.

Still in the end the song matters.

I just think they will manage to qualify since SF 2 is like an EXYU party, it's for sure that most of the EXYUs will make it to the final. I wish ppl only voted for songs but sadly there are always diasporas..

The draw was confusing, but I think Slovenia was moved to the last pot (with Hungary, Slovakia, Malta,...). That's why so many of them are in the same semi...

Here's my rough prediction of the outcome (of course paying more attention to the countries and voting patterns than the songs which are not known yet):

Semi 1

Iceland
Denmark
Finland
Greece
Russia
Romania
Cyprus
Israel
Hungary
Albania

(maybe Austria and/or Belgium instead of some of the above because I can see them as jury sweethearts depending on songs of course)

Semi 2

Turkey
Serbia
Georgia
Bosnia & Herzegovina
Croatia
Macedonia
Ukraine
Slovenia
Armenia

Not sure about the last one, with a really strong song Sweden can get lucky, but otherwise I think we're screwed.

Imo, anyone from the 1st semi has a chance. Even San Marino and anybody can flop.

Yeah, it looks more open.
Semi 2 has stronger countries (I mean, more countries that usually do well in ESC), but 2-3 of them can fail like last year, not everyone, so doesn't look that exciting as semi 1 today.

So I expect higher level in semi 2, but more surprises and excitement in semi 1. We'll see :)

I don't know what to think (yet) so I hope this will be ok draw for us, I mean we deserve to qualify after 3 (THREE) years off and I believe with a good song, this could work out!

Oh hai, has conspiracy season started again?

I must admit that putting all of the Ex-Yus in the same semi is weird, albeit hilarious, but we must also remember that we only know 3 songs. As Lenalite said, there will always be diaspora voting, let's not forget that a weak song can kick a "safe" country from the final, eg Armenia and Turkey last year :p
