I don't know if they belong here, but in Limburg, we have besides our dialect & Dutch also "Cités" (Variant on the Dutch language used by youth in former mine cities ). At the moment lots of youngster in Limburg speak like this .

There are several expressions to "threaten someone" or insult someone, I translated them literally, it doesn't make any sense, but in Dutch it doesn't make any sense either :

"Caroline, ik weet uw huis wone", = Carloni, I know where your house lives
"ge zijt vies op de grond" = you are dirty on the ground
"Mejoh, weet ge, mijn broer heeft zo zo'n mes, die schiet u kapot" = Mejoh, you know, my brother has such a knife (shows how big it is), he shoots you death (with it).

Another saying here which I recently (moments ago actually ) used, and that phrase is used when you are talking about someone, and he just appears after it, or you meet him:

"Mi o vuku, a vuk na vrata" (we were talking about the wolf, and the wolf appears next to the door"

And we say: "Quand les chiens aboient, la caravane passe." :-D
