Pleased for Daudia, a shame Ilenia Suffredini missed out. There's a chance for Itama unless the juries want more of Simon Evans looking creepily intense.

That was quite a remarkable semifinal, glad they shook up their draw system to not be just alphabetical across all the shows - but also, alphabetically inside the semis themselves! That allowed for us to see acts like Loco Boombox WAY too early haha.

Highlights of the semi for me personally were: Isoladellerose (it was a good fucking rock song, the vocals were a bit much but so what???), the aforementioned Loco Boombox (sounded more like a workout tape gone hardcore), Ela (because she dared to not even have her song parts go on cohesively - also there were fucking Kahoot strings LOL), Héctor Mira (he literally vocalized out the synth riff from "What Is Love" by Haddaway...), Isotta (just for how weird this whole performance was), Itama (BANGER FOR THE AGES!!!) and Venn Smyth (Venn's Stuff should've played a bigger role in the performance - he should've just kept pulling out items randomly as if he was a magician).

Yet another year of weird unexplainable UVPSM results, tbh the jury needs to get some new blood. Move over Mimmo Paganelli x

OK, just saw the recap, I had to sleep early yesterday... It wasn't that bad!
But qualifiers are... a choice. Daudia & Itama were good, the three other preselected acts less. A bit sad for Isotta, Isoladellerose & Ilenia Suffredini who were interesting. [and, of course, for this creepy zumba routine]

I really liked to watch yesterday, the sound was god, which is not usual in san marino ( ! ) and there was good surprises in the songs

Basically, i had the same highlights, but i would add ISOTTA singing with her KIDS, which made me laugh first, but finally i really like the song :


And about Ela, it reminded me Bojana Stamenov :')

About the qualifier : Daudia were ok but there was better, ok for Itama and Mace, I would have prefer someone else than simon and the duo but they were ok as well.

Marcella Bella is actually the most famous of the other ones: she participated 9 times in Festival di Sanremo and "Montagne Verdi" is by far her most reknowned song, an evergreen of Italian music. Pago had some success early in the 2000's in Italy expecially with "Parlo di te". ICE MC was and icon of the 90's: "Think about the way" and "It's a rainy day" were major hits (with Alexia as a vocalist). Wlady? I hope it's just NOT the Wlady I remember

i mean, Dana is the most me-and-rainywoods-(and-no-one-else)-coded entry of all times i think. He has an ancient legendary diva to stan, i have a hilarious troll entry to ironically enjoy. no chance it wins (wouldn't it be funny though if loredana won uvpsm though, and gets to re-enact VENGEANCE ON HER EVIL EX BJÖRN BORG (before getting last with 4 points -all from Italy- in the semi)) but that's ok.

I don't believe Loredana would say yes to take part in this and travel to San Marino to perform with their zero budget sound system, without having some proper """"assurances"""" to avoid humiliation.

Am I asking too much? It's okay that the sound system is terrible but I just want a singer in tune and more professional production. It's sad because the songs aren't even bad. If they were sung and acted better they would be decent products.
