Serhat is truly the Tommy Wiseau of Eurovision. What an instant cult classic. Epic bassline, cool upbeat rhythm and touching lyrics that emotionally resonate with everyone. This is life. This is love. We aren't worthy of this Men.

The performance tonight was sensational. Oh my goodness. Everything just came together and he was singing beautifully from start to finish. Charmingly sultry, with this life-giving goodness you just can't buy (you either got it or you don't). Just absolutely delicious. I adored everything about Serhat's journey this year and it's the kind of entry that shows me that even though I've changed a lot over the years, and I often feel a disconnect with the contest, it's well worth it still just to experience moments like this, and to remember what it is I love about Eurovision. Probably my favourite contest performance ever and certainly my favourite pop song that's been sent to the contest (sorry Juliana Pasha for the dethroning). AND SAY NA NA NA CAME TOP 10 IN THE TELEVOTE!? So crazy wonderful. Serhat brought a lot of people joy this year, and he's got a place deep in my heart. He's my idol.
