She's not an average singer to me. I feel the hurt, the pain, the longing so much in her voice when she sings. I listen to a lot of music outside of ESC. The most achingly beautiful neoclassical pieces and stuff. Even though Valentina has sung Ralph Siegel relics each year, i've felt so many emotions from her voice. When she sings, she means every word. She's not a classically trained singer. She's real, she's lived and has been through dark times. Furthermore I just think she is the most beautiful person ever on the inside and that radiates on the outside. She's so humble. She's the underdog. So many of us here I believe can relate to her in some way.

With Valentina it's more than just a song. She sings of life itself. All the up and downs. This is hands down, the best moment of Eurovision history ever for me. I'm more excited than when Rona made it.
