Unfortunately it's the tragic times that forcing me to do so... xcry1

Here, here.. don't cry dear A-Lister. Have a tissue. I bought a new box for listening to "Maybe" with. We can listen to the english version together and let it all out. I imagine my tears will be slightly different to yours though. Mine would be euphoric tears, yours tears of agonyxcry1

Don't pull the wool over my eyes. You're not using those tissues for tears...

You will need to stop it though cause you're off topic all the time and enough is enough. Please feel free to talk about that in the thread specifically created for that. Thank you!

Off-topic in what sense? So only Anglophiles have a say about the chosen languages for entries in ESC? xshrug

Not sure what topic you refer to tbh...

I like 'Maybe' but, in my opinion, is worse than 'Crisalide'. Even so, I hope she makes into the final this year... She deserved last year, and she deserves now. xcheer

Mr. Woods I can assure you that the pain in your chest stops after the semifinals in Copenhagen...... until then I can recommend Reck's Earplugs..... they stop everything from the moment you start using them...... ;)

The pain in my chest will stop? So she'll pass through to the final then? Because that's the only way the pain will lift. There's just so much melancholy in the song I can't cope:cry:

She's like the Dalida of the 21st Century. So much heartache.

I'll be happy to point it out to you the next time this occurs to help you understand what I am referring to.

Yeah it really gets crappy, I start to agree now, I hope Poland will stay Polish, and Montenegro..France is full in French, Portugal as well, Italy too, Spain is bilingual, Slovenia is bilingual and that's it.. xshrug

Mrm, by the why if you understand Polish ... do you know if that song is about the fallen Madonna with the big boobies ????

Probably where you go off on one about juries ruining Eurovision without mentioning the specific entry

Yes please do...

As for now I think I can be dissatisfied with San Marino's choice... since I'm kinda alone (it seems) not really satisfied with the general direction of ESC each choice like this one is a stab... xcry1

Well.. I do occasionally walk around the house, daintily holding a tissue for dramatic effect so you're right. It's not all for tears but for the drama as well.. or Unheilig videos where my face becomes moist.

I don't understand Polish unfortunately, it's the most different Slavic language to Serbian, the least understandable..

Ok, from now on I'll try to make a stronger connection to the entry when doing so...

However half of the British thread consists of pure trolling, but criticizing juries in ESC is "off-topic"... oh well I rest my case... some off-topic clearly is ok.

Yes, my kind of off-topic trolling when I randomly bring up the subject of Amanda Lear is ok. Your language discussion is now officially banned. However, it is not banned from this particular topic.

Please proceed to talk about language for hmmm... say 500 or so pages. I would like this thread to pass the Swedish one.

Hmmmm... at the risk of being unpopular with all the die-hard Monetta fans here, I like Forse, but think Crisalide was better. It's still a good, solid entry that deserves to qualify, but yeah... nothing will top Crisalide for me xheart:sm:

While I don't agree with you generally about the language thing, I think in this San Marino have made a BIG mistake and the quality of the song noticeably dips in English.

I also feel like this year is a bad year, but mainly due to the songs rather than the language they sing in.

I know you are pissed off about the way ESC is going, but for what It's worth I appreciate your passion, even If I don't always agree with you.
