I just received an email from Valentina Monetta's press folks and they also confirmed it's for sure going to be in English.

Well, should I tell people "I told you so" when the juries were brought back?... xshrug

This cultural and linguistic homogenization of EUROvision is really sucking the soul out of the whole contest... xshrug

Its amazing that a small country like San Marino has any performers at all..... In my opinion They can send Vallentina for the next 20 years...... but if they ever want to qualify for the final they should start paying for a composer and stop using a pensioner who no one else wants to use................... San Marino I am now a official hater....... my second 0 pts this year ...lets bake a cake!!:(

Don't allow A-Lister to read this but i'm really happy. The english version is beautiful and the lyrics touching. The last "Maybe" Valentina sings kills me each time, leaves a pain in my chest. The sense of longing. Also it's one of those songs where the English helps vocally make the song more powerful.

Take a look at the line-up in this year and tell me it's not tragic what's happened xshrug, each year we get less and less local and this is turning into just another music show like anything else out there xshrug

For me it's all OK. The song is nice, not as strong as Crisalide or even the Facebook song (yep, my opinion), but I like it enough to put it in my top 5.

But just this: it's not forbidden to change composers every once in a while for Eurovision.

A-Lister actually arrives 2 minutes after Matt posts the confirmation of the English version being usedxrofl2

He must have some kind of language detecting senses and they were obviously tingling.

It's not necessary to turn almost every thread at a certain moment in every year into a language discussion

You will need to stop it though cause you're off topic all the time and enough is enough. Please feel free to talk about that in the thread specifically created for that. Thank you!

Mr. Woods I can assure you that the pain in your chest stops after the semifinals in Copenhagen...... until then I can recommend Reck's Earplugs..... they stop everything from the moment you start using them...... ;)
