I know the best is yet to come from Valentina. I believe in her so much because of her sincerity when performing and her natural soul. I think she's a wonderful jazz singer and I hope she gets to show that off this year. I'm worried about Ralph Siegel holding her back.. as much as he is a gentlemen. I want Valentina to write her own song and for it to be played by a proper jazz band.
LOOL ppl here really are insane, they hope for draw etc, but nobody hopes for a good song at the first place..LOOOOL

How much money does Ralph Siegel have, how can he pay expenses for San Marino 3 years in a row :?
I won't wish anyone broke but can it please run out just enough for him to stop participating for San Marino after this year

So maybe there is a tiny, tiny, chance of you liking her? If Ralph were to back off? I don't think Ralph is ruining her chances totally as she has achieved San Marino's best positions to date. His production values are very dated however. I love him for believing in Valentina so much and giving her a chance. But he needs to back off a bit when it comes to the song she sings this year.
I think all of us that like Valentina know that her songs have been old-fashioned and cheaply produced. It's just her we like. She's made the absolute best of the songs she's been given and her personality and warmth shine through when she performs

Well I suppose that Ralph composed for San Marino three times in a row because he worked with Valentina and she happened to enjoy their collaboration. If Valentina decides not to return next year, then we'll see if they'll go for another composer.

Damn it, this what I call... BAD LUCK! Horrible draw, so many ex-USSR countries and predictably "sure qualifiers"... and again, no Italy voting and for me personally I can't vote as well for her, nightmare :/

Esctoday lied to me! I read on the site earlier that Italy were voting in the first semi final. This isn't fair1
But Valentina was so close to making it last year without Italy then also, plus this year she is performing in the second half. So keep strong Valentina fans. She can do this..

In Valentina's semi we have..
The countries who could fart into a tin can for three minutes and still advance to the final
Almost always (or recently) very successful countries
The mixed bags (have to work harder for that final spot) and (who I think are in good shape now after last year)
Then we have our special no hopers
It's not going to be a cake walk for Valentina. She's going to have to fight really hard again. The quality of the song will need to do the talking. We should be grateful she's performing in the 2nd half of the show though. They can't wreck her chances again so cruelly.
