If this song wins, then I would rather see ESC this year canceled.
I wish that happened already last year, Toy was insufferable. Uno is of the exact same kind, albeit a bit more tolerable cause of the retro charm it has.

LB are TROLLS. they satirize and troll EVERYTHING.
you applaud them for trolling one thing and crucify them for another? there are countless of vids of them talking about being pro-gay, there's a MonM kiss on stage from one of the back vocalists. but yeah... they are "cancelled" because people can't handle black humor and satire. those offended don't deserve the awesomness that LB is. they are not going to go after one aspect of life and waltz around the other. they are fresh out of f's... actually I don't think they ever had any...

i was incredibly suspicious that some weirdly edited/subbed video just wanted me to believe ilich would go to pride and meet people from pride and then actually say to the camera "those people all suck lol" in earnest, but since i am not russian i don't have the cultural knowledge to actually say if what he said is fine, or well-meaning but tonedeaf, or just bad. one person seems to think it's fine; i will wait for more opinions on the matter from actual russians (and not freaked out eurofans on the internet).

ETA. yup cause homophobic people would produce those musicians and then invite one of them to be part of their act...

They need to explain themselves regardless and set the record straight, pun intended. It’s no one’s job here to defend them, especially if it doesn’t line up with their actual views. If they’re truly supportive of LGBTQ+ as people say, then they’ll need to rethink themselves and make that known but in the meantime they need to be held to account.

We can never know who is a homophobe and who is not, without asking each of them individually lol are we gonna make all ESC artists fill a form on their stance on homosexuality, opinions on free market, climate change etc. Who cares? There are stupid people and there will always be.
I'm sure there are many subconscious homophobic artists who refrain from saying it publicly to avoid criticism and beg for gay votes, so i'd at least appreciate LB for being honest and not pretending to be gay-friendly.
