And I was talking about the press conference where he was the only one to bring in a huge flag and proceed PAST his seat to wave it around behind the other contestants.

I think he was briliant on the stage,

you just want to find some lame excuses for throwing crap on Russia (once more)
I think his performance was one of the greatest last night.

And about his personality, like A-lister said, this is a song contest, not a personality one.

Get a life and stop being so offencive...duh

Congratulations to Russia,the only fact I didn't like last night was that Alex was talking during the song...I prefer to hear only the song,not a singer talking to the audience.But he is so hot that I don't care...:) Good luck on the final

Stop being offensive? You mean "easily offended"?
I never said anything bad about his performance and even said he can be cocky because of how good of a performer he is, I'm just saying that to the real ESC fans who follow the participants closely, his personality can be off-putting.

Yep mate! Thank you! Speaking foreign language people often feel uncomfirtable and not easy as home. And there lots of missunderstandings are during conversations 'cause of mental difference - yes! Russian (and maybe Slavic in the whole) guys are mostly manly, they remind me of Mayne Reid's Zeb Stamp sometimes :lol: I was shocked when Western newpapers started to claim our PM as a pretender who is trying to look as a macho :lol: Well so my dad is also a macho as he is fond of hunting, fishing, riding horse etc. It's just natural for a Man. And I am sure not only for Russian men - remember James Bond - he's a Western hero, not Russian!
So Alex is an ordinary Russian guy who likes sports, dangerious stunts and stuff... What poser? It's his life. Maybe someone consider such brightly burning life as unreal.... Well maybe a hunter feels bored looking at the guys near their computers? :D Everything is relative....

Thanks mate! I agree with you: speaking during the song was extra. Well it's his first international contest so I am sure he will get rid of this mistake in his future practice.

I believe he did it cause he was full of anxious and sooo nervous...I hope he overcome it and he won't talk so much on Saturday during the song!OMG he is sooo hot though...

Oh, so when Blue make a naked photoshoot to promote their song, it`s nice, but when Alexej (who is btw prettier and sexier then them) does it, it`s a sin.
What a double standart.
Like I said, people just try to think what another crap to lay on Russia,

He is not arrogant at all!! It is so pity that he seems arrogant to some fans :( He is very friendly and kind person - you can hear it from everyone who saw Alex in diffent kind of TV shows, films and interviews.

I think Alex is very nervous about this ESC thing and that makes him some "bad" and "offencive" stuff.
Like that thing with the women. I don`t think he really believes it, but if he does, it`s not my bussines. Like I said, for me his performance is the most important thing and the performance is flawless. I don`t care what a person Alex is.

And as I've said before, no 'crap' would laid against Alex Sparrow if he didnt dish out the 'crap' in the first place.

It`s difficult for so manly and straight guy who everybody thinks is gay , attempting to a "gay" contest when so many gays want him.
That`s why I said that I understand him (or I at least try to understand him).
And about the kickinggays Alex, I haven`t read the whole interview, so I am not sure in what context he said in
and did he actually said it, cause the interview was in russian.
And maybe the fraze can mean something completelly different. Example "break a leg" in english means "good luck"... It doesn`t sound very "lucky" to me :lol:

But nobody thought about that, you rushed to call him a "homophobe" without looking the situation in details.
And after all, if he actually is a homophobe, that doesn`t make his song and his performance worse, right?
