Semyonovich = male 2nd name which is formed from your father's name. Semyon is a male name.
Semenovich = a surname, Belarusian or Jewish. I know that she has Belarusian roots. Maybe it's formed from the word "corn" (??????), maybe from Semyon... in Ukrainian this name sounds like "SemEn" (in Russian transliteration: ?????). I think it sounds similar in Belarusian though this is Russian varinat of the surname then.
