this year's selectia nationala is so much better than last year - as in, there are five or six songs that i would like to see win as opposed to literally only two (and neither won).

laura bretan has all the potential to be a typical unintentionally (but secretly intentionally) hilarious and gimmicky romanian entry that goes top 10 on the back of the televote,and i do like the song, but i think 2gents or the four would be more refreshing winners. i also liked the entries of olivier kaye, letitia moisescu, and surprisingly i also like mihai's sensatsiya-esque borderline plagiarism of whenever wherever by shakira. his first good attempt since tornero itself.

Bella's song and Linda's are the only ones who scream 2019.
I love everything about Army of love:
-the fact that is has complex lyrics that make sense, not just for the sake of doing the ryme

-her voice and the fact she doesn't has backing vocals

-the beat, it's modern, tribal, and catchy.

-the rap part. Usually the dance songs with rap have a male doing a rap part. Nope, Bella does this part herself too.

-the fact that she's not doing the rap part in English. Jamala did it something like this too. It will "activate" and make them addicted of eurovision. Some of you might know how they react about their miss universe representant every year and how supportive they are.

I just listen it again and again. So catchy. But the juries will prefer Laura imo. It's just what they usually do, digging songs like that.
