Bella's song is quite good actually! I still have other songs I prefer Steam, Trooper), but still it is a lot better than songs from other disappointing sections! So thumbs up!

Edit: Also prefer Laura Bretan over Bella.

The organization has decided to keep the song "Destin" played by Trooper in competition, calls related to a possible violation of the regulation have been examined and rejected. The band will go in the 1st semifinal with Bella Santiago, The Four, Vaida, Nicola, Laura Bretan, Teodora Dinu and other 5 singers.

Probably the song was published much earlier than the EBU rules, perhaps in August. The situation is similar to Freia last year but she was disqualified.

Apparently TVR moved Laura Bretan to the second semi-final who will be held on 10 February. Laura has to perform at a NBA match on 23 January so that's probably why the move happened. Or (unofficially) because they initially put all favourites in semi 1

Bella's song has grown on me with more listens and i can definitely see it as a favorite if it's the one picked.

I'm torn now, wouldn't be mad with either Laura or Bella, both 2 very very solid picks. My issue would be who off the 2 is the better live performer (mainly vocally).

I could definitely see Bucharest 2020

Army of Love has all the ingredients to be successful - but its chances would perhaps be higher without having had Fuego last year. You know the "oh it's a rip-off, blablabla...."-arguement and then she might not be the only one having this style this year so lovers of this genre could go for different songs.

Guess it is the Americans who believe in Laura and some fans that believe in Bella I suppose. But still, very interesting and fun seeing Romania this high up, it happens quite rarely.

Well, given all NF-Songs until now, I also think that Laura is the one with the most universal Appeal (to the Casual Viewers + Juries), so Im not too surprised about her being #3.
