Romania is the best country for good club music, it would be amazing if they send Antonia, Inna, Alexandra Stan, DJ Project, Morandi, Akcent, Dony or Elena Gheorghe, they are big stars in Romania.

Let's be realistic. The only way Romania can overcome the shady voting habits of "neighbor" voting is to send a mega star that the rest of Europe could easily recognize.
So for that you would have
1. Inna.
2. Mihai Traistariu
3. Paula Seling
4. Akcent
5. everyone else.

I think 2014 is the year of the composer of Tornero (2006), Eduard Carcota. In 2013 we had Cristi Faur (2005 composer, too). There are rumours that Eduard Carcota has already a song for 2014 and will make it public after 1st September. I think he is the best composer we have for ESC. Only Ovi can compete with him. I wait his song and to see artist(s) he will choose for his song because 95% this song will go to Denmark.

We need something epic.An artist with personality, a great song, and an amazing show. These are big words, but we can do it. It's time for this part of Europe to win.

Yes, Ovi said on the Facebook that he think at idea to comeback in Eurovision, in Denmark. So, it seems there will be a very strong competition between our best composers Eduard Carcota and Ovi. I have a feeling that 2014 is our year and the fact that those two composers wanna try make me think that I'm not wrong with my feeling.

I wasn't too fond on "Playing With Fire", but I agree with the statement that Romania winning is only a matter of (short) time.

Frankly, I think it could be well over a decade (or more) before the ESC would go to Bucharest, I have no idea why everyone thinks we could win within the next couple of years >.>, I just really don't see it happening anytime soon. Call me a pessimist but that's just how it is for me.

Well, I don't think that after Eurovision 2003 anyone could see Eurovision heading to, or in 2006 nobody could see wining and I am definetly sure that after Eurovision 2009 and another bottom 5 for anyone could've predicted their win next year

That's true, but at the same time there was no world economic crisis in 2003 or in 2006 >.>. As for Germany? The biggest reason as to why any country would end up last is indeed the song, and if not the song, then it's presentation or even the singer's voice could somewhat spoil it. For example, my favorite songs in 2012 were from the UK and Italy but I voted for neither because I felt that the staging they had was rather (if not very) bad, UK went far, far, FAR too over the top with all the fireworks, etc. (that and I didn't like the way the singer sounded live either >.<), while Italy's staging felt underwhelming (I think that the fact that I largely preferred the completely Italian version was also part of the reason though...) to me.

Would you all just stop it with the economic crisis? I don't think it mathers about the money if you have a good song. Even Agathonas said that if would win there won't be a problem. because at the big debts they have now, another 20 million Euros would be just spare change

I don't think televoters or jurors care if the country they vote for can host Eurovision or not. If they would care about that, then would stay in the Semifinals every year. I think it's the broadcaster of the country that won't allow a song that has chances to win represent that county. So, I think that if would've had Loreen with "Euphoria" they would've won Eurobision, but TRM wouldn't allow that song to win the NF, so it wouldn't get the chance. The same happened in in 2011 with Nikki Ponte who was Top 3 in the odds as everybody thought she would go, but I think ERT was scared that they would win so they went for Loucas Yorkas and Stereo Mike, a safe song that would do great in televoting, but they knew the juries don't vote for Rap
