Didn't realise in the live broadcast that her earpiece had gone kaput, I always thought artists did that if they weren't comfortable with them :lol: :lol:

In which case it was a very solid performance! Definitely one of the happier songs this year, will probably be in my Top 10 in the final and I suspect on the scoreboard too :mrgreen:

Think Sweden 2011. Rather early draw yet almost won the televote. I wouldn't worry if I were you!
well,I can't see Romania doing that well in televote...we're not in 2005 anymore....
this year Sweden,Serbia and Russia will get most of the points in their each one block imo...

On first page in Azerbaijani newspapers-it says we are favorites to win (not in this universe :lol:):

and at a concert in Eurovision village:

14th is a very good draw even if there will be a break or not after Azerbaijan. Indeed, Azerbaijan will be great, but Romania will also be much better than in the semifinals. Azerbaijan is a host country and people usually don't vote too much for the host country and the reaction of the public will look nornal in the eyes of televoters who expect the public to love host country. Of course, Azerbaijan will do a top result, the worst what I see is 7th place for them and the best is a 3rd place. The ideea is that coming after host country is not so bad for the televoters. Also, I think that the juries know how Elena sang without earphone in the semifinal and some of them are already impressed by her huge performance because what she did it is really a huge performance to sing in ESC stage without earphone. In juries are musicians so they will understand beter than ESC fans what performance she was able to do and this a be a good proove that she is a very professional and good singer. I guess that the accident from semifinal just helped her with the juries in the final. ALso, Denmark has nothing to impress, it is something ok, but absolutlly no "wow" there. I think they will have the worst results between Nordics. Greece is indeed a strong competitor and can win even the televoting. In semifinal Greece was really the best and I think that even the juries voted for her. But if Elena will sing perfect then we will have plus at juries at least because the Greek song is like the same every year. Sweden has the help of ESC fans who put it on the top of the year... without them it maybe could be between favorites, but not the big favorite. Sweden is almoust every year the big favorite for fans even when it didn't pass the semifinal. So is hard to predict something for them. Can win, but also we can have a surprise. My conclusion is that Romania can still suprise everybody Saturday because we didn't show all what we can and 14 is a good draw.

She needs to be more alive on stage. I know there were problems during the semi performance, but it seems she's way more concerned about her looks than expressing feelings.

Romania could end up very high, maybe even win, only if the performance is more lively.

I still think though that the juries might prevent this, I don't see them really liking this type of entry.

Oh well, if the performance goes well, you deserve atleast a top. 5! As songs go, if Sweden doesn't win, I'd be totally ok with a Romanian victory :) This IS my favorite Romanian entry to date so :)

I totally agree with this from this reason I said that all depends by her. If there will be no problem with the sound then she MUST be more smiley and to comunicate much more with camera just like Elefteria did (here is her bigest plus) or like Kurt did (he was awfull vocally and the song is bad, but he was so natural, happy and smiley with the camera and had a good show... this was enough for them).

the rehearsal :shock::shock::shock:
-vocally flawless but they changed the choreo! Is it possible to do that just before the final?:shock: at 2:22 she doesn't sit on the drum anymore and from 2:39 the boys go in different directions and dance in a different way and jump all over the place :D
the boys seem to have more energy and there's some serious ass shakin'at 1:25 :D

Did you thought than Anze came there only for a visit? They saw the level of everyone now and saw where they can have some lacks. Is much better now. :D I just hope she will comunicate more with the camera and I hope that they will show her when she dance, not all the venue or the guys. I would like to have a camera work so good like Sweden has. We know that there are many Swedish people in staff, but their professionalism seems not so good when we watch at Romania and I'm not reffering only at what happened with earphone in the semifinal, but also at camera work. I'm not trying to say anything, but no country had a so good camera work, so good effects like Sweden had.
