Strange song, considering it was 1980, Luxembourg

I wouldn't say Luxembourg's 1980 entry "Papa Pingouin" was strange. In my opinion, it was a good song, and quite a catchy one at that. In fact it's one of the better songs of that 1980 ESC.

I would say that the weirdest song in the 1980 ESC, and perhaps all time, has to be Norway's 1980 entry "Sámiid Ædnan" sung by Sverre Kjellsberg and Mattis Hætta.

It began with one man singing. About half way through he suddenly stopped and the man dressed in red and blue walked in and started yodelling. A little later they both started yodelling together. To me the yodelling sounded something like "Hey oh lord oh lord oh eh" etc. Not much sense really. 16th place out of 19 songs, and 15 points was as much as it deserved.

Here are the words of "Sámiid Ædnan" http://diggiloo.net/?1980no - but it only has the words of the singing part at the beginning. The yodelling bit isn't there.
