Yuck, the premise of that song is retarded. The performance is not bad, but honestly, a song about an Elvis-copycat? ... In the 2000's, there's no question that VRT's entries ("1 Life", "Je t'adore", "O Julissi", "Me & My Guitar") were much better than RTBF entries (Witloof Bay??? Ugh!). "Sanomi" was an exception.

"With Love Baby" is probably the 2nd best of the French-language broadcaster this millenium, though 2009 is also great. Well, IMO, "Me & My Guitar" is the worst of the Dutch-speaking broadcaster...

Belgium truly chose the wrong song with "O Julissi". That year you had "Magical Sensation" by Katy Satyn, who would've easily had a top 15 placing. :/

I hated that French entry, but I guess my tastes have matured, cause I just listened to it for the first time in two years, and I loved it.
For me the strangest performance comes from Turkey
Rimi rimi ley in 2005 - for performances like this on Balkan we say "jebe lud zbunjenog"
And Petrol song from 1980 - this was epic

I actually liked Latvia in 2010 and LOVED Turkey in 1980. That Turkish entry is one of my all-time favorites even if it was poking fun at the oil situation.
