I came across the idea when I watched the vid of UK's Scooch or Moldova this year... what was a really crazy or weird ESC song?

Would be great if you could post a youtube (or similar) vid!

Let's begin with Germany 1998 - Guildo Horn, a crazy guy! Strange but funny. I hated it back then though. The song was written by Stefan Raab, by the way.

^ But actually the song was nice. It was their styling that ruined EVERYTHING! In the video the medieval concept was great but on stage? Duh! So kitsch and it was like a costume party!

I liked Bosnia in 2004, but many homophobes didn't.

And in regards to Bulgaria 2009, I didn't like the stilts and all, the costumes, the gears in the background, and that one old lady that looked like the bride of Frankenstein.

Iceland 1997

I think Le Papa Pingouin is a touch miscast as a comedy entry. It's actually quite a sweet children's song about a sad penguin who wishes he could fly. I like it.

Minn Hinsti Dans is an interesting one. It would have instantly made this list in 1997. At the time, the performance seemed shockingly pornographic. I'm sure that's why the UK gave it so many points. Nowadays, it's just an amazing Eurovision classic.

I love those 2, too. Bosnia 2004 is just weird and shocking if you ask me... Even with another routine the song is still very bad... Of course Bulgaria 2009 was WTF...
