Honestly seeing :ch: and :mt: shortening in the odds again makes me hopeful that my 15-year-streak of always having the eventual winner in my pre-contest Top 12 will not break after all. :D

I haven't watched any of the rehearsals (except the Danish ones), so it's going to be a surprise for me what each country does.
It also means that I have absolutely no clue who might be going on, in the competition. There is such a big number of participants in this semi that are standing on the threshold of may/may not. Argh! It's nerve-wracking! :LOL:

Crossing my fingers for my Danish guys, though. ;)

Intresting in terms of view counts for the songs from Semi 1.

Russia 5.9m
Ukraine 4.1m
Azerbaijan 2.3m
Cyprus 2.2m
Malta 1.3m
Israel 1.1m
Lithuania 1m

Obviously Russia figures are always skewed because of their population etc. But the rest are interesting. Ukraine will definitely finish top 3 imo. Malta may not finish Top 5. I think the staging is a bit bland, especially compared to the video.

Reports are he absolutely smashed it, he got a huge ovation from the audience and the press center so likely the reaction is why Gjon's odds shortened. In the family show today, the crowd went absolutely berserk during the high note climax - ESCXtra said in their live blog that it was the biggest reception of the day

Yeah, she's probably not the only one who he talked to either. I'm quite worried because of his interview with Edsilia in semi 1 when she gave him the Global Platinum record. I rewatched it now and they were standing very close, talking loudly and she was touching his arm. I hope she didn't catch it because she's in contact with the other hosts and contestants in the Green Room.
