Oh... Between Moldova, Greece, San Marino, Serbia and Albania, one or two should stay in the semifinal.
I do not believe that all the female bops will go through.

danmark has a childish song for big children.

I disagree, Germany has a childish song, Denmark on the other hand has an unapologetic 80's throwback... I mean this is how the 80's looked and sounded like ... it's not some "80's-inspired" (like last year's trend in Pop and that we see in Greece and Poland this year), it IS 80's

Bulgaria, Switzerland, Iceland, Finland, Greece, San Marino are safe

Portugal and Serbia at 75% - which means 50% chance that one of them is not qualifying

Albania 60%
Moldovia, Austria 50% - maximum 2 of them go through, maybe only 1

Czechia, Poland, Georgia should be out

Estonia, Latvia, Denmark - 1 of them is almost certainly through

Moldova.

Greece and San Marino are 100% safe.

Albania could do okay with both, Serbia needs a good televote. Both could qualify, but not a 100%.

Can you explain your point of view? Portugal and Serbia with 75% and one of them is going to fail, but Estonia, Latvia or Denmark with less of 40% are capable to go through?

Because if you play Eurovision semifinal 2 one hundred times, Portugal qualifies 75 times, and Serbia qualifies 75 times, which means, only 50 times they qualify together, and 50 times one of them fails.

The 1st qualifier has an 95% qualification chance, while the 10th qualifier only a 50% chance, which means that is highly unlikely that the Top 10 Ranking according to chances are the actual Top 10 for the final.

By this measurement, I predicted that with 70% chance one of Sweden, Norway and Croatia would fail, and it happened.

This Semi is pretty open, which is good after the the results of the first one! I feel like this Semi will be the better one at the end at least in terms of entertainment.

I've produced a video, with a brief outline of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 First Semi-Final, which took place on 18 May 2021. I've included lists of the countries I wanted, and didn't want, followed by the countries which qualified, in order of announcement. This is followed by comments on the songs I wanted in the final, and those I didn't want.
