My fave is this one. NBC's face when he sees Conan's Freddy Krueger meets hammerhead shark claw hand thingy is everything I ever needed in my life and more.

I think I was too fatigued last night to enjoy the moment properly when Conan won. It was kind of like the 2019 final destination point for me. If you messed up with this selection then it would have been game over, with some (hopefully) nice flowers placed upon my coffin, but thankfully that didn't happen. I should have trusted Portugal more because this is three years in a row now of beautiful, unique and thought-provoking entries.
From the moment I first heard Telemóveis, I was smitten. My first time with it made me weirdly emotional and I still don't know exactly why. Each time I listen to it I pick up on something I didn't notice before. There's so many little nuances. From the haunting opening chords to Conan's deeply gorgeous vocals that slither around you like a golden snake. Everything grabs me in. Listening to Telemóveis feels akin to being abducted by green aliens in Nike trainers after wandering into an ancient temple where the walls are engulfed in wild shrubbery. Without even knowing what Conan looks like, the song would fascinate me, but then seeing him performing the piece in all his very strange, magnificent glory adds a whole other layer to the experience. He's an artist in the true sense of the word. From one weirdo to another, I can say that I know he's genuine, and that matters a lot to me. I think he's just wonderful.
Needless to say, 12 points for Portugal, and thank you for my new number 1 of 2019. Godhat's coming soon though, so be careful. The only other thing I will say (and I've said this once before but will again) is that I believe this entry is a humongous risk. I can't actually remember the last time we've had a piece of music as experimental and left field at the contest. I feel like I'm in the one parallel universe where a song like Telemóveis is actually able to exist as a big fan favourite. I'm reserved about it's chances and won't get my hopes up for anything crazy to happen. I'm just glad I get to experience Conan at Eurovision, and that I finally have an entry for 2019 that's a truly rewarding listen for me. Portugal saving my soul three years in a row. Thank you.
Omg the poll....you got to love a polarizing entry!
This is how it should be really as it shows people have very strong feelings towards a song, whether that be love or hate. Nothing worse than indifference.

Can this song really win esc? Does Telemoveis even have a melody? It's way too avant-garde to win. A result like Aminata is probably realistic. Winning - definitely not.
