Heeey, don;t be typical ESC fan....it so obvious RTP doesn't want craps which flood ESC from everywhere these days..
What do you want Suzy, Charlotte Perelli, Hadise , Waldo's people or some other crappos??

I do have to say I feel sorry for Portugese esc fans
this reminds me of the Dutch NF of 2004-2011, which were all horrible. I dont think FdC is horrible though, it looks like a classy show , but most songs tonight are weak, bland and oldfashioned. I expected a more modern approach by RTP this year. The best tonight is Salvador. Salvador has a timeless entry. I believe it can qualify for the final, but theres some work to do.

Oh please. I just want songs that belong to this century. All of the composers that were invited for the NF this year do much much better songs in their normal work, but the view RTP has of ESC, and therefore the view they passed to them of what their entries should be belong in the 1980s.
There's no way you can seriously think this is the best the Portuguese music has to offer to Eurovision.
By the way, the official page on Facebook is currently being flooded with complaints and hate. RTP really put people's hopes up there, and now they're going to get the backlash they deserve.

I hate Waldo's People. I want something like Aminata, Jamala, Margaret Berger, Loic Nottet, Pastora Soler....or basically almost any entry of the past 5 years. Don't be such an asshole please, at least respect the mourning of Portuguese fan's hopes of ever seeing a good entry by RTP in Eurovision

I kinda liked Salvador Sobral, maybe some Golden Slumbers but I can't see a song that will qualify in May...

I do think the second semi is probably going to be better, judging by what the composers and the artists said on their interviews compared with what the ones on this semi-final said. I have a feeling that "Don't Walk Away" will be good, but I will definitely be expecting the worst anyway, so the disappointment isn't big again.

I think the only chance Portugal's got is what the Netherlands did. Select internally a famous artist with a good song. Only after we'd get some good results and the popularity of the contest rises, should we try a NF again.

Oh lord, this is disappointing. I was quite excited to Festival da Canção, but it was... flat. My favorite one is Viva la Diva's "Nova Glória".

I feel the same... I had really high hopes for this semifinal, I was working today and I keept thinking 'can't wait for later tonight...'
Maybe one day we can have a FdC as good as we deserve...
