I don't think the staging will be anyhting special, but I do believe Portugal has chances at being a borderline qualifier.

Of course, as long as it is in the future there's always chances I guess. However, we have been practically non existent and unless we come up as this edition startling dark horse, I can't really see it happening.

Just found out this wonderful duet piece by Miguel Gameiro, the 2015 Portuguese entry composer. Female singer is Anabela who sang for Portugal (very nicely too!) in the 90s.

If this was in the run for us, I wouldn't care if people didn't like it as I would know it was the best in the competition by the longest mile..

A week without any comments in this thread. This says it all about the absolute lack of promotion (or even subtle interest, let's just put it out there) shown by the portuguese team. I don't really see this making to the finals. It's ESC 2015. You don't just show up on the day and hope for the best. You have to sell it. Oh well... I'll be rooting for Estonia instead, as if it were my own country

I don't dislike the song itself. The studio version is pleasant. BUT, the live performance I saw in a preview program was just terrible. She was off-key constantly. She really needs to nail the vocals to avoid a bottom 3 position in semi 2.
