IMO the worst thing is that still song is mediocre and don't have a big potential to qualify.

Leonor will sing in the last show of Got Talent Portugal next Sunday. Hopefully she'll sing the revamped version!

Suzy was such a joy. She was performing basically every evening. I remember the day after her non-qualification she was performing at Euro Cafe and thanked for all the support. She is a true entertainer.

I finally listened to the Eurovision version of Leonor's song and it's better than the original, I'll give it that. But it's still way too draggy to leave an impression. Bummer!

I dont dislike it, But there are better songs.
Good luck anyway, They are singing in their own language, thats means a lot for me.

I fear I got influenced by all the negative comments, by all those last places in polls and odds and pods so that I'm feeling my initial enthusiasm for our entry wane more than a bit.
That and the fact that they (Leonor & Co) don't really seem to care anymore. I'm still moderately curious to know what they do on stage, I suspect nothing much, but that's what I feel towards any other song and I no longer expect anything our way.
I'll be very surprised indeed if we don't end up dead last or last but one in the semi final - San Marino does after all perform in our semi and I'm sure they will battle it out xshrug

I feel the same as you. Honestly, i almost forget we're competing this year and all i can do is blame it on RTP and Leonor's team. The song isn't half bad (not a winner, but certainly not bad enough to be considered bottom of the table) and the reason why it is flying under the radar is basically due to the absolute lack of news or promotion. Even yesterday's acoustic performance has been blocked from youtube. Pathetic.

I am among the people who think that Suzy had more chances to qualify last year than Leonor this year.

However, I found one reason to hope however. I feel that Ha um mar que nos separa has a Disney touch in its music style. And the last Portuguese song that qualified was quite Disneyian (Ha dias assim in 2010).

I've only listened to 11 songs, in alphabetical order and I gave up. I do not feel even slightly enthusiastic, considering the songs I've listened too. :?

You should listen to all the songs! 11 out of 40 is not really a big number :D
Listen to Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway and Albania, at least one of those you've got to like! There's a lot of other good songs too in my opinion.
