I never mentioned age as a factor for the supposed pity. I wanted Adelaide through during the first-semi after all.

What I meant was the melancholic mood of the song, the non-relating lyrics of the same and an outdated melody.

I did say it was powerfully delivered though, and I think it's clear it'll be contender against Yola probably.

But it's just not my personal cup of tea. I don't believe we can do well with this formula of songs over and over again. We need modernism, quality upbeat, everything else that the rest Europe is doing right now.
