It's not that, lyrics are ridiculous, of course they are and Portuguese usage is almost incorrect, , but that's not the issue. It's the style, really and what it stands for.

We don't really care, the song makes people dance, that's important. :)

Sending crap is not really my dream as a portuguese eurovision fan :)

The style is pimba --> Crap

Awesome. So in Portugal, you have pop singers, rock singers, jazz singers, classical singers... oh and then pimba (crap) singers, right? Is this a real thing or is it just an opinion of someone that doesn't like this style? I mean, could I go to Portugal and find a CD called "Now That's What I Call Pimba Vol. 85"??

I'm not too familiar with Pimba style but do you have a few example of the most famous/successful Pimba songs? I'm curious and wanna check them out.

So enlighten the rest of us... what does this style stand for?

It stands for ignorance and bad teeth. Can you get the idea? Best i can do at this time of night.

Anyway, i'm out of here. I'll try and avoid this thread in the future xshrug

No, i mean its hard to explain. We call that people "Azeiteiros"... It like music for ignorant people, no education...

Hmmm, okay. I think I might have to bow out of this conversation now. Music is polarising, I get that, but I don't agree with stereotyping because of the kind of music a certain person listens to. xshrug

No drama, just something I don't agree with.
