If you were Portuguese you would be able to understand just how awful this song sounds to most of us and how terrible it is to have it representing our country. But you are not, so I don't blame you

Seriously though, just sleep over it people. Tomorrow things will look different. I was pissed off at my fellow Germans for their attitude (and to a degree bad taste) but life goes on. I'll look forward to dance to that track in Copenhagen.

It's not that, lyrics are ridiculous, of course they are and Portuguese usage is almost incorrect, , but that's not the issue. It's the style, really and what it stands for.
