We can't. We're stuck with this turd of a song. It was never about Catarina anyway, or anyone else for that matter. If she, Catarina, had been chosen we'd have a better song, sure, but not a great one either, and we'd probably be facing vocal issues as well. But for some mysterious reason you always mention Catarina whenever I air my (most reasonable) hate on the Portuguese entry, lol.

I go cray cray because I hate this song and the style it belongs to, and also because it didn't play fair of course, that was very unpleasant, not because I especially liked, let alone loved, any other song in the competition.

I'm sorry I won't be returning the favour, but I won't be voting for Belgium. Belgium is the only song worse than Portugal in this entire contest

Catarina, Suzy and especially Rui were all unimpressive. All their songs are bad, IMO. But please stop saying Suzy robbed something (the same old story that lacks proofs) and being happy about the fact that she went through that unfortunate experience in Copenhagen is just sad... :?

Zana was the only choice I liked in the NF she didn't win. I'm not happy with having this song representing at all, but got over that looooooong ago.

There is no logic Europe to go mad on Michel Telo and other brazilian pop stuff and at the same time Susy's song to be bashed so much by the fans. This year's Portugal song is colourful combination between portugalian, brazil and african motives and with so many ballads from the other countries, I think that the viewers will rank this very high Here is the same situation like Spain - different song won instead of the "fan favourite", but again the choice was the right one. Thank God, that this authentic song won over the other Melodifestivalen reject...

Well passion tends to go with enjoyment and enthusiasm, not bitterness. Why keep bitching for weeks when everyone else is enjoying the song or enjoying the other songs they like. Meh. No use flogging a dead horse anyway.

Glad to see all the likes on her performances now, complete contrast to a couple of months ago. Seems like it's become quite popular with Europe! I may be crazy but I fancy her chances of qualifying, especially with that placement.

Wrong. Passion goes both ways as everyone knows very well. ESC wise it touches you stronger, one way or another, when it's your own country. All will be forgotten when the ESC is over and done. Now is the time to talk about it. Praise it, bitch it, live it!

Not true. I admit to being passionate, sure, but there are a lot of things I'm indifferent about, ESC songs included. Most of today's rehearsals, for instance, leave me quite cold as I'm not really interested. I'm mostly curious about Switzerland, cause I love it, and Romania/Austria, cause I hate them, lol.

I will watch and read all about the 10 of them of course anyway
