Well...the song itself is not bad. What is bad here is...performance. This year Portugal is equal to Ireland for me - the song is nice, but when I see the performance I immediately hate it.

sorry?? no...no...Latvia and Estonia are small but they are Ex URSS country´s.!!!!!...Israel? yes they are small and without neighbor's voting in ESC, but they are very political....this year they are again trying the gay massive voting with Dana International....You're welcome! Yeah, you guys may only have 1 neighbor and not much when it comes to diaspora voting, but Estonia, Israel, Latvia and other smaller countries have won. I'm sure with an appealing song, Portugal will win one day

Indeed, very interesting.
People commenting on that piece of news don't get that it isn't the necessity of austerity measures we don't like, it's the fact that these measures are a lot harder on the poorer than on big business. Ah well.
Why is always Portugal's attitude like: "We don't give a damn about you and your stupid contest! We're here to mock you
maybe it´s better for you to read the history of Portugal in ESC, than you can comment thinks like that!

I disagree about Portugal....we will never ever win ESC...never...! Lithuania yes, they have changes as they are ex_URSS!
well My feeling for a Portuguese winner is growing for every year now after the slight miss in 07...I hope they find the diamond in the rough now and finally makes the victory!
Portugal and Lithuania are the two countries I really look forward to see as winners in the near future!

In The Netherlands many people say this too. But with a good song and performance and a lot of luck, everything is possible! Probably not this year, but you never know.

^ Add to that, that televoters would probably not vote for this neither. So I don't think that they will qualify this time around. I just hope that it's not a nul point situation because that would just be super sad.

I listened to the songs before I watched the live performances or learnt more about songs and based just on the studio version I quite liked the song, 6 points, sounds like it could be a cartoon intro or something.

That's how I came to like the song: I read their history, I read what the lyrics meant, and listened to it a good 50 times. But the typical televoter wouldn't do that, sadly
Well, to be honest, I instantly like whatever Portugal sends (it's my personal bias, I admit), and I did sort of like it the first time I listened to it months ago. So I'm not the best barometer on how it will do in Dusseldorf. It's cute and fiesta friendly. I actually scream along with it in the car
