I think people are just seeking attention and more views through Eurovision. I don't think that is anything to take seriously.

Reminds me of that girl (forgot her name but she was a pretty big name) last year or two years ago who acted like she was going to represent UK to ESC and stuff and then it was not her at all, just some promotion stuff

Finally remembered the name, it was Rina Sawayama a few years ago that acted like she was gonna represent the UK in ESC then at the end of the day it was not her, just some promotion

Here I'm saying that I think that Jojo is doing the same thing

Disputable.

Her grandparents are Polish. I guess she's 25% Polish xD - but yeah, I don't want her to represent Poland, either.

Give me another bop in Polish by a trending artist or something as original as Tulia (but with a more competitive song, please!)

But like Germany, the committee might be the issue here... it's crazy to think how the two men voted - basically ditching the folklore entries and placing Luna as #1 (which was a lovely radio-friendly tune but nothing special).

See how he says he "doesn't want" Jojo to represent Poland? Very cutesy, very polite. He doesn't spill hate like the other forum members. Very mindful, very demure. :p

TVP decided to shoot down Jojo Siwa rumours and said they haven't talked to any performers yet.
Don't want to sound rude or anything, but to any person who is a true ESC fan, it should be obvious, that the whole thing has been an attention grab from the very beginning.
First of all, Poland has never started their preselections season that early. Secondly, her supposed entry wouldn't be eligible anyway, since she released it before the 1st of september. Well, even if it was eligible, there is absolutely no reality in which it'd come anywhere near being selected for ESC.
Nobody in Poland heard about her before the whole thing and now she's suddenly becoming popular. It's a sad thing, but thanks to the way media are she achieved exactly what she wanted.
She kind of reminds me of that Gnome guy Crawly. Just another typical attention seeker coming to a different country to make a career, because they have too little to offer to do so in their own country.

In the Czechia and Poland, the fight against flooding is ongoing, which has already been lost in many places. Many people in the latter country are reminded of the "Flood of the Millennium" from 1997. Moreover, now, as then, TVP is organizing aid campaigns for flood victims. Hence, there is currently no decision from Poland regarding Eurovision 2025 as there are other, more priority matters for TVP.
Interestingly, in 1997, the Polish Television campaign on aid for flood victims was accompanied by a special song "Moja i twoja nadzieja" from the repertoire of the band Hey, which was not only an expression of solidarity for people affected by the arrival of the "big flood" but also a "brick" of support for these people, as the income from the special album and the concert went to help flood victims as part of the "Television viewers - flood victims" campaign organized by the Polish public broadcaster.
Currently, TVP is preparing a new version of the song "Moja i twoja nadzieja" by the band Hey. Just like in 1997, popular Polish artists will take part in the recording of this special song, among whom, just like in the older version of the project from 1997, former representatives of Poland at Eurovision will appear. While in the original version of the song, such former Eurovision artists as Anna Maria Jopek (ESC 1997), Renata Dąbkowska (ESC 1998) and Anna Świątczak (ESC 2006) took part, now among the performers we will find Kasia Kowalska (ESC 1996), Andrzej Piaseczny (ESC 2001) and some participants of the Krajowe Eliminacje (Polish pre-selection for ESC) from different years.
The premiere of the song will take place next week during "19:30", i.e. the TVP1 news service.
Version song from 1997:

^^ Love it - it seems a bit repetitive at the end of the snippet but who knows? they could revamp it a bit (and maybe put up the volume of the flute?).

It's time Poland submitted a modern ethno banger anyway....
