The polish diaspora should have come out for Rafal to be honest im mad they didnt
I am sure Rafal wouldn’t appreciate if the Poulish diaspora „came out“ to for him, but I would have loved to see his temper tantrum.

2018 you were 10th in the televote, 2019 11th missing by 5pts but were also missing Norway, UK, Ireland & even Lithuania in your semi.

Ok, that's fair. Still it was not enough for overriding the juries' decision and actually qualifying (and rightfully so) so having a large diaspora in every second European country doesn't guarantee a good result (unless we count 11th in semi as a good result... it isn't)

2021 is the only real stand out to give your point credence.

it's the most important one, hence "especially" - we are facing a very similar situation here as it was back then, when act was hated by the public. Sure we can say that at least Blanka had gotten points from voters at home, but the uproar her win caused proves that that support - even if present - is just way too small.

This year i'd say Poland has a fairly solid draw in what is shaping up to be a fairly terrible semi.

And our song at the very best matches the level. 6 songs still have to go in that semi. And quite honestly, it would be a good thing if Poland's result matches my expectations and indeed turns out to be one of them - not because I wish Blanka herself ill, but a) it's a lazy effort and b) it would be preferable to show the broadcaster they're doing things wrong, because once was apparently not enough.

By the way, the petition has almost 21 000 signatures as for now, which might be not a massive number, but still pretty considerable for something like this.

Winner can't sing live, choreography was under rehearsed, song flat-lined. One can imagine that there was no need to practise singing on a treadmill as Chanel did as it seems that the outcome was predetermined.

Why are people so butthurt? Its giving Margaret losing to Michał Szpak, or Mirela losing to Manel. People are acting as if Blankas song didn't have loads of streams already - way waaaayy more than anyone elses and was already a hit song. Heck she even performed it abroad. Blanka was bad, but so was Jann. He was horrific live, screeching his way through the song and gasping for air every 2 seconds - it was messy as hell. I don't deny something sus may have happened but i don't think Blanka winning is some wild turn of events.
Folks, Edyta Gorniak's son is among us 🙀

The fact the entry is utter shit and Blanka is a non-artist forcefully shoved down our throats by TVP is not the worst part here. Nor that the voting was obviously rigged. The worst part is that there was an actual artist with an actual song that people wanted in the contest, who would actually fight for something more than 15th place in semifinal. And he was denied his right because personal connections matter more than merit in TVP.

This is nothing like Szpak. Szpak's win was surprising, but completely fair. People loved his song and performance, and it was later proven by 3rd place in ESC televote. "Solo" has a 10 to 1 dislike ratio.

Wow now hearing that this was even more rigged than we thought, is crazy.
They've already told the press in advance to the whole show to write articles that Blanka won?!

No wonder Jann was so chill about losing. He knew before he even went on stage. Such a shitshow.

Just saw the linked video. I guess this is after she won, did something bad happen or why does she radiate the charisma of a brick wall? Everybody is happy for her and she is like ._.
She knew she cheated. I haven’t seen the vid myself but I heard the audience was furious and booing

Yes maybe it was rigged but i can already imagine some stupid fans sending death threats and insulting her in private. She remains a human like any other with a family. She's only a singer for a song contest. Yes if it's rigged (it seems to be the case), it's not correct at all and very disrespectful but it's not something terrible too. There are worse things in the world happening right now. Also why would the broadcaster change the results If themselves are accomplices of this rigged result ? Of course it's not fair i'm not saying it is.

If people and Eurovision media would put the same effort into doing the same kind of statement for example, let's say, the replacement of the actual Croatian entry (which deserves much more effort and attention from the fans to be banned, because it promotes the idea that Eurovision is only a political propaganda platform), i would be happy.

Man it's only a song contest, she's a human being, I don't think she deserves all this hate
Problem is, she made herself the new face of TVPs corruption. So it's not just about Eurovision anymore. Corruption and Nepotism shouldn't be taken lightly. It's not an innocent mistake.

She shouldn't be hated into oblivion and people shouldn't go below the belt. But I think people are justified to hold her accountable too, she played her part in it. She's not a victim in this situation.
