Just because we don't like the song, doesn't make us immature.

But denial that he won as a defense mechanism is, even by the definition of immature as a psychological term, immature. So is calling anyone who doesn't believe that the NF was rigged "dumbass trolls."

Funny thing is that if Margaret won, the same people who fawn over Michal would be 'hating' on here in the same way we are 'hating'. People have different opinions and they express it. Get over it. BTW that is kind of the whole point of having forum.

No, we would be saying "what a shame that Margaret won. What an awful song," but we would not be saying "this national final was rigged; there's no way Margaret could have won."

For all the supposed ''haters'' of this song, it still has a very nice ratio and is obviously one of the most popular songs on YT so far.

Of course there might be people who genuinely hate the song... I said "some people", because it's obvious that some just graded it low out of anger or frustation. If the cap suits...

I was standing in the first row right in the middle in front of Edyta. As much as I loved seeing Zlata back in Riga...it's Edyta who electrified my whole body in her final chorus. It's not that Szpak is bad. I like his song (but I was the one who prefered "such is life") although it should've been the year of Edyta. After the drama with her dress and one of margaret's dancers who wrecked it... she won't come back ever again. While Szpak could try next year.. it's just, Grateful would be too perfect to represant Poland so it's gonna stay in my heart as the best song ever from all those which weren't picked by their countries.

Szpak will do fine in Sweden so let's keep fingers crossed for him. Ludzie.. nie srać do własnego gniazda.

Btw... who the hell sent THAT performance to EBU instead of the competitive one? There are ending subtitles and he has unbuttoned shirt. Like, seriously.. is it because of the fans who stayed for the last performance while Margaret's part of the audience madly had left the building (kiddos..) :D

I'd write one post and then get over myself, like I have done with about the dozen other NF results that have annoyed me so far this edition. But you're right, this is the whole point of having a forum, so yeah.. tis all good.

I'm now talking about cegs5 suggesting that those who gave Michal 0 points are immature.

I am not denying that he won and nobody (at leas not on this forum) is doing so. There were some people on Facebook saying he was cheating before, so I asked a question about that. He won and he will be representing Poland and many people are upset because of that. I wish he would fail to qualify to the final so that Poland get what they deserve. However, there is absolutely no denial. Just dismay.

That's very unfortunate what happened to Edyta. :( Maybe TVP will choose her internally next year. I agree that she probably will never participate in National final ever again.

lavieenrose beat me to it Mii11! Just to make my position clear before I head to bed and leave y'all to it, I am perfectly fine with people detesting this song and wishing it had got no votes whatsoever in the NF. You are more than welcome to come along and debate why you think it is so on here. What I don't agree with is people saying that the NF was fixed because he won. If, Mii11, you fall in the former category alone, then I have full respect for your views, although they be different from my own, and feel that you have every right to come along and hope Poland fails as retribution for choosing a song you feel is terrible, as long as you respect that I feel completely differently. I kinda think you do have that respect and that things have gone further than they perhaps should have. xrose

Oh good, people already discussing about how immature and childish the 0's votings are so I don't have to start this topic. Keep going guys

And I once thought the polls give me a good overview about the crowds opinion of the songs and maybe even a little reference of how songs will do in the ESC (mostly not though) but I guess now the poll became a useless troll tool.

Margaret's song might be good for some of you and this is fine but maybe she should learn how to sing properly before she tries to enter the biggest European stage. We had enough bad singers on Eurovision stage the last few years

Why are people assuming that everyone who voted 0 for the song is automatically a troll, a 'hater' or Margaret hardcore fan? I can't speak for other people, but in my case I just think that this song is weak and it was the worst (well maybe Taraka and the mermaid were worse) possible choice that Poland could have made. I thought Margaret was the best, but I would be delighted if Edyta was chosen as well. I would be ok with Dorota or Kasia. However this song is absolutely awful. If he had a good song, I would happily give him more points. It's very simple. I'm sure most of the members who gave him 0 are not haters as well.

I know Matt says the polls are meaningless and just a bit of fun, but I disagree. I think this kind of troll voting needs to be stopped, because it would be nice if the polls were a little bit more representative of the actual song.
