Re: POLAND 2016
It's more likely that we will leave ESC freely.
Not this year, but the next maybe, who knows..

Who talked about kicking Poland out? I was actually asking how polish people perceive the newest developments in their country regarding the ESC. I'm not talking EU-politics here!. No need to take this as an opportunity to bash EBU, Sweden, the EU or who ever else....
I think it's a media bubble. EBU may rise concerns about this and that, but I don't think they will kick TVP out, considering that they are far from being alone on the issue of governments' control over public broadcasters.
Ehm? Do you not read your own posts in here? Please take a look at the two posts (one including political references by yourself and the other a link regarding the issue posted by another member in here) that I responded to in one single response before making responses like these thank you very much! So if you want to "bash" my response, atleast understand the context of that response first

I specifically said i'm not discussing EU-politics but the influence of polish political changes to the ESC (because that's what I want to discuss here). I even specified my first post in a second one later to be clear what I meant and I spare you to repeat myself on that.
I did not want to "bash" your post (what ever you mean by that) and if you feel offended then I'm sorry. That was not my intention.
But frankly I get a little bit tired of the fact that the slightest political statement launches a completely undifferentiated and overall lamento about the allegedly evil EU, EBU, media, or the "west" as a whole (this applies also the the "east" as a whole) that even sometimes goes into the wild conspiracy theories. (This is of course not all about you)
Why I posted my question was to get an insight perspective from Poland. I did not want to read again, what kind of manipulated country Sweden is. Of course you are free to post this here as often as you want, but as you quoted me when doing so, I felt I needed to tell you this.
But as I said, I do not really want to have this discussion, so I will not take part in it, unless you re-quote me on this matter.
understood.Fair enough, but there were some political references in your post though, and again it wasn't solely your post I responded to (also to the article that was posted by another member).
I happen to live in this country (Poland) and I just reacted (generally) at this whole rumor that even EBU would be dragged into the whole hopla regarding Poland's supposed "lack of democracy" (and in particular I referred to the media laws here). I guess my point was just to point out the absurdity about a potential ban from ESC (if there ever would be one) and pointed out some other examples of why this would be absurd.
My response was never an attack on you, just a sole reaction to this supposed "banning".
The signing of a new media law in Poland has led to some media speculation that the Polish broadcaster TVP may no longer compete in the Eurovision Song Contest. The European Broadcasting Union confirmed that TVP remains a member and will participate in Stockholm as planned. Poland first entered the contest in 1994 and have yet to score a victory.

I cling to the hope that it may be true, that it's not just a bad joke from Donatan.
Cleo2016: yes please!
