We have past the DDL and there is still more than one option in the lead!

a) german song from over 100 years ago about hitting someone with mud
b) swiss folk song from over 70 years ago about the coo coo clock of grandma
c) influental electronical song from over 40 years ago from an UK artist which only had chart success in germany
e) hip hop from nearly 20 years ago in romansh language (4th official language of switzerland)
f) 20th century (first half) classical music meets tv theme from the 80's (they had a romance together 6 years ago)

All got two votes, only d) and g) just got one, so i decided to let random.org do another voting and i've choosen the coin flipper with one swiss francs. The women (Helvetica) is winning, the number is losing.

First round:

f) has lost, all other can flip their coin a second round!

Out:
f) 20th century (first half) classical music meets tv theme from the 80's (they had a romance together 6 years ago)

Second round:

Awww... all have lost, we can't get closer to a decision. :( Time for another round.

Third round:

Okay... i did not expected that we will made such tiny to no steps this way, but at least we are down to three options. ^^ 4th round is coming.

Out:
c) influental electronical song from over 40 years ago from an UK artist which only had chart success in germany

Fourth round:

Okay, another tiny step, two options left! Final round now?

Out:
e) hip hop from nearly 20 years ago in romansh language (4th official language of switzerland)

Fifth round:

Just the really old songs are left as options!

Do we go over 70 years back in swiss music history or over hundred in germanys?

a) german song from over 100 years ago about hitting someone with mud
b) swiss folk song from over 70 years ago about the coo coo clock of grandma

One have won the coin flip in this round, the other lost it. Which will be ::pap entry?

So it's finally decided! You will hear grandmas coo coo clock in NSC 238!

Btw: Alltough the record i send is from 1954 it seems that this is first recorded 18 years earlier, so the song is originally over 88 years old. I loved this song as a child (were it already was old) and still love it today! I'm curios what will happen to it in NSC, but even if it fails hard: I will still love it! xheart Hope at least some of you are happy with the outcome of this NF. ^^

Btw.: The other songs stays on my list, we will see if another one will participate already on NSC 239. I would say yes atm, but i can't promise it. :D

Bumm & Schrumm - s'Guggerzytli

Lyrics translation out of youtube comments from pianoman74:

1. Every time I go off to the countryside to my granny, it pops into my eye over and over again: that cuckoo clock hanging on the wall of her living room. "Look, my boy", Granny said, and her hands trembled: "My cuckoo clock has been hanging on that wall for so many years."

2. In the morning, I can hear the cow bellow "moo, moo!" and the dog go "woof, woof!" and after that, though very faintly, I can hear the cuckoo clock do its "Cuckoo, cuckoo!", too. This clock has proclaimed good times and bad times all those years; that's why I'm afraid it could predict me one day, that my life is about to come to an end.

3. I don't need gold nor silver to be a happy person, as long as I have that cuckoo clock and even my glass of wine. And should one day the bell toll for me, my only wish will be this: please remember to give me my cuckoo clock on my journey into eternity.
