Re: Paper & INK [ NSC 116 ] Language NF: Second round!

Funny how the LotR languages are the only remaining ones which have won NSC (or at least a close relative to them, i.e. whatever the chorus of Gäa was written in)

Not really sure about that though, there might've probably been an Albanian-sung winner or sth.

Yes, Gäa was in Quenya. ^^

I know that Oya was partly in a african language, but i'm pretty sure it wasnt in one of the languages remaining and that the language it was in contains the three letters of the title of the song ^^

Thanks to the three voters so far:
Anselm, Stargazer and Salmon!

Bodo Wartke - Liebeslied (Multilingual Love Song)

Thanks to all who voted for which languages i should put in this song! xrose

Every voter received his own version with his favourite languages ^^

But you can also make your own version!

Just go to Bodo Wartke - Lovesonggenerator

And if you miss a language there and you are able to help to add it, just click on "Own Language" there.

Here you can hear a live-version with english chorus and moderation:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPXQXUg8YmE

And here you can hear all verses in all the languages and dialects (more than 80):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOrsQaUCTYI (including arround 20 german dialects)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOrsQaUCTYI&feature=youtu.be&t=4m53s (without them)

Bodo Wartke calls himself a Piano Cabaret Artist and i definetely have to see him somewhen in the near future, he is great xlove

I tried out some random languages + Estonian at 1 point. His pronunciation was really weird and nerdy.

Re: Paper & INK [116 ] Bodo Wartke - Liebeslied (The Multilingual Love Song)

in my mothertongue, he sounds very well... but maybe because it is his own

also i think without knowing the original language that the quality of his pronouncation is sometimes low and sometimes good. it maybe depends on the originals (the people who've sent him the verses in all the languages), but maybe its only my feeling that the quality changes that much from case to case ^^

Well likely. The translation was good in Estonian though... the lyrics were certainly better flowing and rhyming than the ones in English.

His German accent is so strong you can even make it out in languages you don't understand at all though
