I didn't find pots mentioned anywhere in the rules, so i guess it must be rather about tradition. So you're not supposed, but expected to use them. Wait for Adam until he makes them for current edition, he told he would replace the top pot with some new division :]

It's actually up to you, some people prefer the use of pots as a tool to diversify the semis, but there's no rules about it or anything.

Traditionally yes, this is how it's usually been done. The rules don't explicitly force that either, but it's always been the preferred option.

Personally I don't mind, I welcome the odd non-pot edition every now and then to give us some statistics on the difference it makes.

i think i am updating all the entries due to changes. sorry for poor feedback, just don't have enought time to respond all the pm-'s. btw, people, for god's sake, chill out with those changes of entries! i think that at least 5 countries has changed them already, some of them more than once! you had really enough time for that, deadline is in 24 hours! i hated Ukraine 2010 just because of situation which they've had, so i think i don't have to explain further
