Faroe Islands are in some kind of unreal football-euphoria at the moment, an euphoria that has never really been there before. To say the least people have never felt so proud of being Faroese like now. Join the Faroese feeling!

Brian Kerr, the Irish coach of the Faroese Islands, was more than honoured that he was the first man to bring Faroe Islands to the quarter-finals in the WC (and a WC in the first place). Former Faroese coachs include three Faroese coaches, two Danish coaches, and one Icelandic coach. Apparently it was the way to go searching for a coach outside Scandinavia!
The Faroese Islands have players playing for clubs in mainly Faroe Islands and Denmark. However, there is one player who has really made an impression on everyone in Faroe Islands. Playing for Manchester City he is undoubtedly the biggest star of the Faroese team. Today he had a clean-sheet so that hasn't decreased his level of spotlight from various medias on Faroe Islands.
