Matchday 5; Group A: Calypso - Bokia

Bokia, that has won the first two games in the tournament against Calypso, that really need to win the match to get through to the next round. In the 21st minute Calypso scored the first goal after a free-kick that hit the Bokian defenders stomach and slowly went in to the goal.

In the 2nd half, the game slowed down a bit, but got very intense during the last half. In the 67th Calypsian forward scored 2-0. 3 minutes afterwards, the Bokian midfielder scored after a great shot. In the 80th minute Bokia scored again after the defender in Calypso scored in own goal. It really looked like Calypso had to hope for the other groups to see if they are one of the best 3rd placers..but it changed since they scored in the 85th minute after a amazing long shot from the offensive midfielder. Calypso wins the match!

Fervorosia and Bokia goes directly to the next round. Calypso is on the third place, but it is cleard that they will join the other two countries to the round of 16. Zombira flops and gets 0 points...

Matchday 5; Group B: Tír an Abhainn - Sillycone Valley

An important match for TAA, who needs to win the match to secure a place in the next round. But it didn't started the way they wanted. Sillycone Valleys forward score the first goal in the 34th minute. The Sillycones looks strong in the match.

In the 54th minute, Sillycone Valley scored again, by a free-kick from the midfielder. But then TAA woke up and tried to get back in the match. In the 76th minute TAA scored after a amazing shot from their forward. TAA really worked to get a equalizer and in the 86th minute the forward in TAA scored again. It looked like an another 2-2 game for TAA, but then suddenly in the 93rd minute, the QuiénDQ referee pointed on the penalty spot. It seems that the Sillycone defender drag the TAA forwards shirt. The TAA forward scored the penalty and finally a win for TAA.

Matchday 5; Group B: Viola Per Sempre - Gozitania

A game about the 3rd place...but since both matches played at the same time, they were playing to get the 2nd one.

It only took 2 minutes til Viola Per Sempre forward scored the first goal.
In the 14th minute 2-0 came, after a great free-kick from the VPS defender.
3-0 came in the 34th minute by the forward again.
Gozitania played really bad in the first half.

No goals was scored until the 78th minute, when VPS scored 4-0! The forward made a hat-trick.
And then came 5-0! Another great free-kick from the defender in the 84th minute.
Gozitania really didn't have nothing to do in this match. Their 2nd 0-5 loss in a row.

Sillycone Valley and Tír an Abhainn goes directly to the Round of 16. VPS has to hope for being one of the 4 best 3rd placers. Gozitania did get to tournament as a 4th placer..so maybe they weren't ready for the WC yet...

Matchday 5; Group C:

Blondania - Scorpionia 0-0

A really boring match there Blondania were the better team. No big chances and Scorpinia will for sure be the best first placer of the tournament right now.

Kuki-Q - Canedonia 2-0

Both teams had to win to have a chance of make it to the next round. Kuki-Q started off the best after just 4 minutes, 1-0 from the forward. The Canedonians tried to get back in the game, but the Kuki-Q keeper did an enourmous match. In the 48th minute, Kuki-Qs midfielder scored 2-0 at a great free-kick. And Canedonia tried everything to at least get one goal in the tournament..but failed.

Scorpionia and Kuki-Q goes to the Round of 16. Blondania is at the moment last of the 3rd placers, which means that Calypso has fully qualified for the next round. Canedonia, worst team in the tournament so far with 0 points and 0 goals scored....

Matchday 6; Group D:

Eureka - Macchabis 3-4

Macchabis need at least one point against the strong defensive team of Eureka to keep the 2nd place in the group. In the 24th minute, the first goal conceded for Eureka. The Macchabis forward scored. It took a while until the next goal was scored, but in the 75th minute, Macchabis forward scored again! Five minutes later, both teams defenders looked very tired and didn't keep up their great play. Eureka scored 1-2 after a corner. In the 82nd, it was 2-2, after a great free-kick from the Eurekan midfielder. And suddenly..EUREKA WAS IN THE LEAD! 3-2 after a counter-attack from the forward in the 83rd. But then 3 minutes after , it was 3-3 again, after a own goal by the Eurekan defender. But it didn't stop there..MACCHABIS SCORED AGAIN! In the 87th minute, a amazing attack made the crowd so happy! THEY HAVE WON THE GROUP!

Adamsburg - Yaponesia 0-1

Non of the teams has scored any goals so far, but this match had at least one goal and it was the Yaponesian defender that with a long shot scored in the 25th minute made the country 3rd in the group. Adamsburg is a big disapointment with not a single goal in 3 matches...

It was a really tight game all the way til the end, but the Eurekan striker scored very late in the match and Kuki-Q couldn't get back in time. Eureka will be up against "the unbreakeble?" Comino.

Scorpionia didn't play that good to be honest...but Calypso played even worser. Scorpionia played very ugly and had lots of yellow cards in this match, and even if they had one player less, they could outnumber the Calypsians. Calypso had a few chances, but somehow they couldn't focus and were too nervous. Scorpionia to the Quaterfinal, against either Sillycone Valley and Tír an Abhainn.

Comments:
The question everyone was asking was "What happened to the reigning champions?". These two met in the group stage, ending in a 3-2 win for TAA and now TAA played much better than the Sillycones and had the lead instantly after the first blow from the referee. No 2nd gold medal for Sillycone Valley, instead Tír an Abhainn takes the place in the quaterfinal against Scorpionia!

Tomorrow the next 4 matches will come!

:evil: we are out! scorpionia were not playing good but we were too self confident before the match, and very nervous! although we are not in the quarterfinals, this was yet our best world cup!
